Why Do We Charge $2?

Last updated July 3, 2026

Why Is There a $2 Processing Fee?

When you submit a name-your-price request on hotelhaggle, a $2 processing fee is charged. This fee keeps the platform running and covers the cost of negotiating with hotels on your behalf.

What the Fee Covers

  • Negotiation service — We contact hotels directly to present your offer and secure the best possible deal
  • Platform maintenance — Keeping our bidding, comparison, and messaging tools running smoothly
  • Customer support — Help when you need it, from bidding questions to booking assistance

How the Fee Works

The $2 fee is charged once per request — not per room or per night. Whether you need 1 room or 10, the fee stays the same.

No Hotel Markups

hotelhaggle does not add commissions or markups to hotel rates. The price the hotel accepts is the price you pay. Our only charge is the flat $2 fee.
