Two days, six games, one address

The Shriners Children's Charleston Classic runs Friday, 20 November and Sunday, 22 November 2026 at TD Arena, 301 Meeting Street. The arena seats 5,100 and sits one block from Marion Square and King Street.

Six programs play six standalone games. Friday carries Oklahoma State against Minnesota at 12:30 p.m., Northwestern against Virginia Tech at 3:00 p.m., and Dayton against Utah at 5:30 p.m. Sunday carries Dayton against Northwestern at 1:00 p.m., Virginia Tech against Oklahoma State at 3:30 p.m., and Utah against Minnesota at 6:00 p.m.

Saturday holds no games. A buyer attending both days books Friday and Saturday nights.

The ticket page sells one game at a time

The tickets page states the rule in one line: "Tickets are sold on a game-by-game basis." The same block adds that there is no all-event pass, and that a two-day attendee buys one Friday ticket and one Sunday ticket for their team's games.

The page carries no price for any of the six games. It carries no price for the VIP hospitality wristband, which the page dates to early Fall.

A two-night buy therefore arrives as two ticket transactions with no published number on either one, and the buyer commits before the games start.

The travel page and its 2019 headline

The FAQ answers the accommodation question in one sentence. The organiser has "partnered with the Charleston CVB to setup a number of fan blocks around the site", points readers to the travel page, states that it offers no full travel packages, and adds that tickets are bought separately.

The travel page names no property, no rate, no group code and no cut-off date, and it prints no dollar figure. It carries flights into Charleston International, an average November high of 70 degrees, a Travel + Leisure ranking and a link to Explore Charleston.

Its one accommodation item is a headline dated 07.09.2019: "Discounted Fan Accommodations For 2019 Now Available". Seven seasons sit between that headline and this tournament.

The per-night figures that do exist

The Charleston Conference publishes a 2026 hotel card with a rate per property, a group deadline of October 1 and the instruction to name the Charleston Library Conference to receive it. That deadline passed three weeks ago.

Four card properties sit close to the arena: Hotel Bella Grace at 117 Calhoun Street, the Francis Marion at 387 King Street, The Ryder Hotel at 237 Meeting Street and The Meeting Street Inn at 173 Meeting Street. Straight-line distances from 301 Meeting Street run 0.2 to 0.7 km.

The card prices them at $399 at Bella Grace, $244 at the Francis Marion, $279 at The Ryder and $229 at The Meeting Street Inn. Three of the four carry a Sunday to Friday qualifier, and the Francis Marion entry carries a SOLD OUT tag.

Hampton Inn Historic District at 345 Meeting Street lists $274 and sits 0.4 km out on the same measure. The Moxy Downtown at 547 Meeting Street lists $175 and sits 1.7 km out.

None of those figures belongs to the Charleston Classic. They are the per-night prices a buyer can read on this peninsula.

Saturday is the night the card charges most for

The Meeting Street Inn prices its week in two parts: $229 for Sunday to Friday, and $369 for Friday and Saturday. The gap is $140 a night. Hotel Bella Grace and The Ryder Hotel qualify their rate to Sunday through Friday.

A buyer attending both playing days needs Friday and Saturday nights. Saturday carries no basketball, and Saturday carries the top step of the published ladder at the properties that print one. The organiser publishes no figure at all for those two nights.

The seats have a contact and the rooms have none

The tickets page names a route for group seating: contact David Crowley at ESPN Events at david.crowley@charlestonclassic.com for information and pricing. That is a named human for seats.

The room side holds a CVB link and a headline from 2019.

What goes on the request

A two-night stay for 20 and 21 November 2026 with a named room count and a named radius is a request a hotel can price. The published card gives the buyer reference points at four addresses inside a kilometre.

hotelhaggle takes one request and sends it to hotels in the destination. The site states that hotels accept, counter or decline, that every offer arrives in one dashboard, and that submission is free.

The hotelhaggle seller of travel page names Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington as restricted, on a page last updated 25 October 2026. Charleston sits outside those four states, so a Charleston request can be submitted.

Two lines that disagree

The FAQ describes an eight-team tournament with 8 games over a 2-day period, split into two brackets of 4. The home page and the tickets page both publish six programs and six standalone games.

The FAQ also states that tickets will be available later this summer through the College of Charleston box office. The tickets page reads "TICKETS ARE NOW ONSALE". Ask the box office which page governs before forwarding either one to a client.
