Two thousand nine hundred and ninety dollars buys one day on a show floor at 95 Calhoun Street. Pay by July 7, 2026 and the same day costs 2,700 dollars. The gap is 290 dollars, or 10.7 percent of the early rate.
The Charleston Conference publishes both figures on the Vendor Showcase page for the 2026 edition. The floor opens Tuesday, November 3 at 10:00 am and closes at 5:30 pm. Seven and a half hours.
The exhibitor card carries two rungs and one date
Early bird rate: 2,700 dollars through July 7, 2026. Regular rate: 2,990 dollars from July 8, 2026 until sold out. The page dates the step between the rungs. It leaves the closing date open.
Divide each fee by the floor time. The early rate runs at 360 dollars an hour. The regular rate runs at 398.67 dollars an hour. The step between the rungs is 38.67 dollars an hour of floor time.
The delegate ladder beside it runs four rungs
The same organisation prices attendance on four dated steps. Extra early bird at 535 dollars ran June 11 to July 10. Early bird at 555 dollars ran July 11 to September 18, extended to September 23. Regular at 695 dollars runs September 24 to October 23 on the rates page, which the conference timeline dates from September 19. Late and on-site at 850 dollars runs November 2 to 6.
The span from first rung to last is 315 dollars, or 58.9 percent. The one-day attendance rate is 295 dollars with no deadline attached. Groups of four or more from one organisation take an automatic 15 percent discount, which does not apply to the Extra Early Bird or Late periods.
Both cards belong to the same conference. Every delegate rung carries a date. The exhibitor card dates one step.
The room card for the same week
The conference runs November 2 to 6 across the Gaillard Center, the Francis Marion Hotel and the Courtyard by Marriott Charleston Historic District. The hotel page lists 24 room-block entries, one of which pairs two hotels under a single group rate. Published rates run from 119 dollars to 439 dollars a night.
The headquarters hotel is the Francis Marion at 387 King Street, marked sold out at 244 dollars a night. The Courtyard by Marriott Charleston Historic District sits at 125 Calhoun Street on the same street as the floor, at 379 dollars. The pair is 135 dollars apart, a step of 55.3 percent.
The floor of the room card is the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Downtown WestEdge at 119 dollars Sunday to Wednesday, 129 to 139 dollars Thursday and 159 to 169 dollars Friday. The ceiling is The Vendue Inn at 439 dollars Friday and Saturday.
The group deadline is October 1, unless a property notes otherwise. That deadline has passed. Fulton Lane Inn and Kings Courtyard Inn carry a three-night minimum stay. The page states that conference week is busy in Charleston because of other events in town. A shuttle runs from every listed property to the Gaillard Center and the Francis Marion Hotel.
What the exhibitor fee buys in rooms
Set the regular exhibitor rate against the published room card for the same week. At 439 dollars a night, 2,990 dollars covers 6.8 nights. At 119 dollars a night it covers 25.1 nights.
The early rate covers 6.2 nights at the ceiling and 22.7 nights at the floor.
The same organiser published both cards for the same week in the same city. A group buyer can price one floor day against the room it would otherwise book.
The test a buyer can run
A card with a dated step tells a buyer what the seller will charge after a given date. Run that test on the smallest unit the seller will quote.
On a room request the smallest unit is one night. Ask for the card rate on a named night inside the event week. Ask for the second night in the same reply.
A card that holds returns two equal numbers. A card that steps returns two numbers and a date.
Four asks that follow
Ask for the cutoff in words. The exhibitor card reads until sold out, which dates nothing. A room request can carry a dated cutoff and a release date on the same line.
Ask what the rate does when the block sells out. The Francis Marion entry answers that question by printing sold out beside a 244 dollar rate. A buyer who reads the page today holds the published figure and no room.
Ask for the comparison base behind any code. A discount applied to an unpublished base gives a buyer nothing to audit. The exhibitor card works because both rungs are printed with a date on the step.
Ask how the card prices Friday and Saturday. Several entries carry a separate weekend rate, including The Vendue Inn at 339 dollars Sunday to Thursday and 439 dollars Friday and Saturday.
What the platform adds
hotelhaggle sends one request to 50 or more hotels in the destination. Offers come back in 24 to 72 hours, and the platform adds no markup to the rate the hotel quotes. South Carolina sits outside the five states the platform excludes, listed on the seller-of-travel page as CA, FL, HI, IA and WA, updated July 3, 2026.
The published card sets the ceiling for a request.
The number to keep
290 dollars. That is what a late decision cost a vendor on one floor day in Charleston. The early rate closed 119 days before the floor opened.
For a group buyer booking a Charleston week, the same lever sits in the dated step. Name the date, hold the seller to it, and price the second night in the same reply.
