Waitlist, six-pack and bundle: leverage on a March Charleston stay

96 events, 33 sold out

Charleston Wine + Food runs March 3 through March 7, 2027. The schedule page counts 96 events for the festival week. On 26 October 2026 the availability filter printed 33 sold out, 45 available and 18 limited quantity.

Two events print $96.15, the lowest price on the event pages: The Vinyl Party Remix on Wednesday March 3 from 9:00 pm to 11:59 pm, and the Tallest Ramos Party on Sunday March 7 from 8:00 pm. The top of the ladder is the Culinary Village six-pack at $999.20.

Every event page carries the line: Ticket price listed is inclusive of fees.

The waitlist moves tickets at face value

Every sold-out event carries a waitlist control on its own page. The FAQ supplies the mechanics. A returned ticket enters the queue, and the guest who takes it pays face value. The return runs through the Official Ticket Exchange powered by Squadup, by email. The seller is refunded the ticket amount less processing and credit card fees.

The return window closes at 11:59 p.m. EST on February 15, 2027. One term travels with every ticket. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable between events, and every event runs rain or shine.

The six-pack prices one afternoon at $166.53

The Culinary Village GA 6-Pack sells six general admission tickets for one selected day at $999.20. The page prints its own comparison: $166.53 per person against a regular $199.15, a saving of $195.70 on the group.

Three days are offered, Friday March 5, Saturday March 6 and Sunday March 7, each from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm at Johnson Hagood Stadium, 68 Hagood Ave. A group of six carries a ticket cost of $166.53 per head at the festival's flagship event.

The Weekender carries $1,139.95 of tickets for $853.20

The Weekender Bundle combines Culinary Village VIP on Sunday with general admission to four events: Opening Night, Shucked, Street Eats and The World of 'Cue. The bundle page prints $1,139.95 in all-in ticket value for $853.20. The gap is $286.75.

Two published room nights at the Holiday Inn Express WestEdge total $288 on the low column of that card, at $129 for Thursday and $159 for Friday. The bundle saving lands $1.25 short of those two nights.

The festival lists 29 places to stay and prints no rate

The Where to Stay page names 29 properties under three headings, with a street address for each and a telephone number on 23 of them. The page holds zero dollar figures, zero group codes and zero deadlines. The festival routes lodging to a property list.

One listing carries a walking claim. The Holiday Inn Express and Suites Downtown Charleston Medical Center at 250 Spring Street is described as a 5 minute walk to the Culinary Village. The road route from Johnson Hagood Stadium to 250 Spring Street runs 1.37 km, and the straight line is 0.52 miles.

The city rate card is the only printed price

A Charleston Library Conference hotel card prints 24 properties with per-night rates and day qualifiers, and it states a group deadline of October 1. The card still prints its rates after that date, so read it as a price record.

Day qualifiers decide the week. Holiday Inn Express WestEdge prints $119 or $120 Sunday to Wednesday, $129 or $139 on Thursday, and $159 or $169 on Friday. The card prints no Saturday step for that property. The Vendue prints $339 Sunday to Thursday and $439 Friday and Saturday. Meeting Street Inn prints $229 Sunday to Friday and $369 Friday and Saturday. Indigo Inn prints $299 Sunday to Friday and $369 Friday and Saturday. Homewood Suites, Emeline, the Ryder Hotel and the Moxy each print a Sunday to Friday band.

A Wednesday arrival meets the day qualifiers

The festival opens Wednesday March 3 and closes Sunday March 7. A Wednesday arrival with a Sunday departure makes four nights: March 3, 4, 5 and 6. Friday and Saturday fall outside a Sunday to Friday band, and outside a Sunday to Thursday band.

Six properties price those nights with no day qualifier. Courtyard by Marriott Charleston Historic District at 125 Calhoun Street prints $379. Embassy Suites Hotel Historic at 337 Meeting Street prints $294. Hampton Inn Historic District at 345 Meeting Street prints $274. Live Oak Charleston Historic District at 425 Meeting Street prints $269. DoubleTree Hilton Riverview at 84 Ripley Point Drive prints $151. Hilton Club Liberty Place at 475 East Bay Street prints $409 to $419.

Kings Courtyard Inn at 198 King Street and Fulton Lane Inn at 202 King Street print $285 to $342 with a three night minimum, so a four night stay fits both. The Francis Marion Hotel at 387 King Street prints $244 with a SOLD OUT mark against the entry.

The ask, in writing

The buyer sends eight addresses and one question. Six guests, four nights, Wednesday March 3 to Sunday March 7. What is the rate for the Friday and Saturday nights that the card leaves blank?

Two published savings carry the email. A party of six pays $166.53 per head at the Culinary Village group rate, $195.70 less than six single tickets. The Weekender returns $286.75 against its own stated value. Together they cover a published room night at the Moxy, priced $175 Sunday to Friday, and come within $1.25 of two nights at the Holiday Inn Express WestEdge.

Two terms belong in the same email. All festival events are 21 and over with valid identification at the door, so a party of six is six adults. The waitlist return closes February 15, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. EST, and a room cancellation date later than that leaves the guest holding a non-refundable ticket.
