Fifty-eight years of Greek food, pastries and dancing land at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Fort Worth on Friday 13 November 2026. The festival runs three days and closes Sunday at 3 p.m. Entry costs nothing. Parking costs nothing. The festival publishes no hotel rate, no room block and no cut-off date.
That last sentence is the whole opening. A buyer who arrives with a two-night ask in writing sets the terms of this stay.
What the festival publishes
St. Demetrios sits at 2020 NW 21st Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76164, in the North Side. The gates open Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The parish lists Greek meals cooked by its own families, and baked and frozen food to carry home: pastries, breads, desserts and ready-to-heat dishes. Sanctuary tours run with Fr. Nicholas. Everything sits indoors or under tents, so the festival runs rain or shine.
The site carries no hotel page, no partner property, no group rate and no reservation link. Contact runs to the parish office at (817) 626-5578 and festival@stdemetrios.net.
Two payment lines sit on the home page. One reads "All food and drink purchases can be made using cash, credit, or debit." Another reads "No Tokens - Credit Cards Only." A guest travels with a card.
Two nights, not one
Friday and Saturday run twelve hours each. A single night buys one evening of a three-day festival. Book Friday 13 November through Sunday 15 November and the stay covers both full days, plus a Sunday morning on the grounds before the close.
Two nights also change what a hotel quotes. The published group threshold starts at 10 rooms a night, and some properties go down to 5 rooms depending on season and availability. Ten rooms across two nights is a real block, and a real block gets priced.
The field you are bidding into
Visit Fort Worth counts more than 12,000 hotel rooms across the city on its group hotels page. Its meetings page counts more than 4,000 in the downtown area alone. The convention center page adds at least 15 hotels within walking distance of the building.
Distance from the church, measured on the road network on 26 October 2026: the Stockyards sit 1.8 miles away, about five minutes of driving. Sundance Square sits 3.5 miles out, about seven minutes.
Two clusters answer this request. The Stockyards and North Side cluster sits closest to the church. The downtown cluster carries the deepest room count. Ask both. One request on hotelhaggle goes to 50 or more hotels in the destination, and the offers return side by side, inside 24 to 72 hours.
The network behind that request holds 103,857 hotels across 46 states. Texas sits outside the four-state seller-of-travel restriction that covers Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington.
Value already banked
Free entry and free parking remove two costs a festival stay normally carries. The parish routes parking to North Side High School and runs a shuttle to the church.
Treat both as settled before the first enquiry. A property that quotes a room rate plus a nightly parking charge asks you to pay for a space the organizers already provided.
The Sunday 3 p.m. ask
Sunday closes at 3 p.m. A standard checkout lands at 11 a.m. or noon, which puts a family back on the road before the last dancing.
Ask each property one direct question: what do you hold for a Sunday 3 p.m. checkout? Get the answer in writing, attached to the rate.
Who travels to this one
The festival programme lists dance groups by age band: 4 to 8, 9 to 11, 12 to 18, and 18 to 35. The schedule page still carries the 2025 grid, so treat those times as last year's and the age bands as the stable part.
Four age bands mean families travel together, and a family needs more than one room type. State the mix in the request: kings, doubles, and the number of rooms per family.
Terms to put in the request
Name the window, 13 to 15 November 2026, and the room mix. Put four questions in the same message: the nightly rate for 10 or more rooms across both nights, the cut-off date for the block, the cancellation deadline, and the Sunday checkout hour.
The festival publishes no cut-off, so the first written deadline in the process comes from the property. Read it against the festival dates, and check the weekday it names.
You pay the hotel directly, and the platform adds no markup to the rate. Submit once, compare every offer in one view, and hold the winner to the terms in writing.
