Three days, one admission price
Boo at the Zoo ran Oct. 23, 24 and 25, 2026 at the Fort Worth Zoo, 1989 Colonial Parkway. The gates opened at 10 a.m. and closed at 5 p.m. each day. The treat stations stayed open for the whole window. The event came with general admission or a membership, so the ticket bought the day and the coupon bought the candy.
Admission costs $22 for adults 13 and older, $18 for children 3 to 12, $18 for seniors 65 and older, and nothing for ages 2 and younger. Parking costs $5 per vehicle.
Six coupons arrive with each ticket
Every admission ticket and every membership carries six complimentary treat coupons. A family of four holding four tickets starts with 24 coupons. Members, online ticket buyers and consignment holders collect coupons at the scanning stations with a member card or admission ticket. GETOUT pass holders collect at member services.
One coupon holds four pieces of candy
One coupon buys four pieces of pre-mixed candy. A single ticket returns 24 pieces. A family of four returns 96. Count the coupon in candy pieces, and the case for buying more changes shape.
Extra coupons cost five dollars per six
Additional coupons sell at $5 for six, which puts a coupon near 83 cents and a piece of candy near 21 cents. Twenty-four extra coupons, enough to double a family of four, cost $20. The zoo names five places to buy them: the entrance, the Lion Cart, Safari Traders, the Penguin Cart and the General Store in Texas Wild.
A non-candy station serves guests with dietary needs. The zoo lists it as designated on the event map.
The group rate starts at fifteen people
The zoo sells discounted admission to groups of 15 or more, by reservation at least one week before the visit. The coupon allocation names admission tickets, memberships, consignment tickets and GETOUT passes. Ask Event Sales at 817-759-7300 for the group price and the coupon count before fixing the size of the party.
Members pay four dollars where a car pays five
Two paid rides sit inside the event. The Bone Rattler Express sells one-way tickets at $5, or $4 for members. The Kooky Carousel sells rides at $5, or $4 for members. Parking costs $5 per vehicle and is free for members with a valid member ID card. Four train rides and four carousel rides return $8 to a member household, and the parking space returns another $5.
The membership pays back on the third visit
Membership costs $80 for an adult, $40 for a child aged 3 to 17, $70 for a student or senior, and $100 for a guest pass. The zoo states that a membership pays for itself in three visits. Run the published prices. An adult day costs $22 in admission and $5 in parking, or $27. Three such days total $81 against the $80 membership. Admission alone takes longer: $80 divided by $22 is 3.6 visits, so a single adult breaks even on the fourth visit.
The zoo also lets a ticket convert. It applies the full-price admission cost from one visit to a membership and honors the ticket for seven days, by mail or at member services in person. A first visit then works as a deposit.
Buy the ticket inside the window
General admission tickets went on sale Sept. 23, 2026, and each ticket covers one visit within 30 days of purchase. A ticket bought on the first on-sale day reaches Oct. 23. A ticket bought on Oct. 25 reaches Nov. 24. A family weighing three days buys late and keeps the choice open.
Wednesday pricing sits outside the event
The zoo runs Half-Price Wednesdays on admission every Wednesday of the year. Oct. 23, 24 and 25 fell on a Friday, a Saturday and a Sunday. The nearest Wednesdays were Oct. 21 and Oct. 28. That rate works for a separate trip, at roughly $11 for an adult and $9 for a child, and it does not lower the cost of this weekend.
One member benefit stops at the event gate. The $3 discount on one-day admission for a member's guest excludes half-price Wednesdays and special events, may not be combined with other offers, and is limited to six tickets per visit.
Two details that change the day
Guests aged 13 and older must keep faces visible and identifiable. Full-face masks and heavy makeup are refused at the gate. The event runs rain or shine and cancels only for severe weather, with notice on the zoo website and social channels. Trinity Metro runs the alternative to the $5 lot.
The zoo's event, visit, membership and group pages sell the ticket, the coupon and the membership. A room rate sits with the hotel.
