The Block Publishes a Figure for Every Property

HPBExpo27 runs March 3 to 6, 2027 at Music City Center in Nashville. The show holds eight downtown hotels in its official block. The attendee hotel page names the properties, the headquarters hotel and one deadline. The Official Housing Map PDF linked from that page prints a start-at rate beside each property.

Omni Nashville Hotel, the headquarters property at 250 Rep. John Lewis Way South, reads $309. Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville Downtown at 708 Demonbreun Street reads $339. AC Hotel Nashville Downtown, Residence Inn Nashville Downtown and SpringHill Suites Nashville Downtown each read $329. Cambria Hotel Nashville Downtown at 118 8th Ave S reads $269. Hilton Garden Inn Convention Center at 305 Korean Veterans Boulevard reads $279. Holiday Inn Express Nashville Downtown at 920 Broadway reads $252.

The Maritz housing portal prints the same eight figures for a March 3 to March 6 search under the label "Rates Start At". The portal states one qualifier beside them: "The rates indicated below are based on Single occupancy. Additional occupants may incur additional fees."

What the Figure Leaves Out

The map states no room type and no tax rate beside any figure. The portal states no minimum stay and no tax rate on the search page. The band runs $252 to $339, an $87 spread a night. Three nights at the two ends price at $756 and $1,017 before tax.

Ask each property which room class the start-at figure buys. The label names the bottom of a range the property holds.

Distances the Portal Measures

Maritz lists Omni at 0.0 miles from Music City Center. Embassy Suites and Residence Inn sit at 0.1 miles. AC Hotel, Cambria Suites and SpringHill Suites sit at 0.2 miles. Hilton Garden Inn sits at 0.3 miles. Holiday Inn Express sits at 0.4 miles.

The map prints the same layout in blocks. It places Omni and Embassy Suites as adjacent, four properties one block out, Hilton Garden Inn two blocks out and Holiday Inn Express four blocks out.

Four Dates Set the Cost

The Maritz portal carries an important-deadlines panel. February 1, 2027 is the last day to make a hotel reservation. February 2, 2027 closes the housing website. From February 8, 2027 the guest contacts the hotel directly for a change or a cancellation.

The attendee page prints the first date as "Rates End February 1, 2027". The organiser's FAQ prints the same date in one answer: "Hotel reservations are currently being accepted until February 1, 2027."

Maritz states the terms on the hotel page as "Pay Delay, book now, pay later", "No Fees, no booking, change, or cancellation fees" and "Group Reservations, manage several rooms in one place". The page publishes no attrition clause, no deposit figure and no minimum stay.

The Badge Ladder Runs on Its Own Clock

Badges price in three windows. Early registration runs through December 7, 2026 at $159 for non-members and $49 for HPBA members beyond the four complimentary badges a member company receives. Standard registration runs December 8, 2026 to March 2, 2027 at $189 and $69. On-site registration from March 3 in Nashville runs $239 and $89.

The non-member ladder moves $80 from the early window to the on-site window. The member ladder moves $40. One badge covers indoor and outdoor exhibits, the education sessions and the events across all four days.

Badges sit in a separate system from the room. The organiser states one instruction for both: register first, then book the room in the official block.

One Provider Holds the Block

The hotel page names Maritz as the only official housing provider and prints a warning beside it: "If another company contacts you offering HPBExpo27 hotel rooms, they are not endorsed by the show. Those offers can look cheaper, but the rooms may not exist, and the change and cancellation terms can be punishing."

The portal repeats the warning in its own words and adds that unaffiliated reservations may carry unreasonable cancellation or change penalties. The contact route is HPBExpoHotel@Maritz.com and (864) 208-2299.

The Saturday Night Question

The show runs four days. March 3 carries education, training, certification and affiliate receptions while the floor stays shut. Exhibits open March 4 and close March 6 at 1 PM.

A three-night booking from March 3 to March 6 pays for the Saturday night. The floor closes at 1 PM that day. Price the same request as a two-night window from March 3 to March 5 and compare the two totals. The final night buys an afternoon.

What to Put in the Request

Quote the start-at figure for the property and the window. Ask for the room type behind that figure, the tax that applies, and the nightly rate on March 3, March 4 and March 5 stated separately.

Put the February 1 deadline in the email and ask what the property will offer on February 3. The housing site closes February 2 and the hotels take over on February 8, so the counter-offer arrives from the property.

Ask for the parking rate across those nights. Neither the hotel page nor the map states a parking figure for this block.

A request sent through hotelhaggle reaches hotels in Nashville in one submission and carries the block figure as its benchmark. Tennessee sits outside the four states listed on the hotelhaggle seller-of-travel page, so a Nashville request routes normally.
