Do it Best Corp. holds its Fall Market at the Indiana Convention Center from September 25 to 28, 2026. The market's own site counts more than 1,200 vendors and 9,300 attendees across 566,000 square feet of floor. The convention center forecasts 12,000 attendees.
Two numbers decide what a room costs that week. The first is the crowd. The second is the hour the crowd leaves. The Market floor runs Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Monday 7 a.m. to noon.
Samples cannot leave the building before Monday at noon. The market issues merchandise removal passes after 8 a.m. on Monday, September 28.
Where the Official Block Sits
The market publishes a housing list of 22 hotels. It sells those rooms through its own registration site. The market states its rates are lower than any online booking site, app, travel agency, or hotel chain site. The rates appear after you log in.
The distances are public. Three properties carry the label connected to the center: Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, and Westin Indianapolis. Six more sit within one block: Courtyard Indianapolis Downtown, Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Downtown, Fairfield Inn & Suites Downtown, Holiday Inn Express Downtown, JW Marriott Indianapolis, and SpringHill Suites Indianapolis Downtown.
The convention center reports 7,100 hotel rooms downtown and 4,700 rooms linked to the building by skywalk. The market's venue page states the center is linked by skywalks to 12 hotels.
Run One Comparison Before You Accept
Take the quote you hold for September 25 to 28. Price the same room type for dates with nothing on the center's events calendar. Put both numbers in writing.
The following week carries its own demand. The MAPP Benchmarking and Best Practices Conference runs at the same venue September 29 to October 1, 2026, with a venue forecast of 650 attendees. The center's calendar lists three events between September 22 and October 1. September 25 through October 1 is one continuous run of convention demand.
Leverage Sits Outside the Block
Ask the hotel what it holds after the block releases. Ask what a Sunday night adds. Ask for the rate on a Monday departure.
Seven hotels on the market's free shuttle list sit away from the center. Holiday Inn Select sits at 410 S. Missouri St., Holiday Inn Indianapolis Downtown at 515 S. West St., Staybridge Suites at 535 S. West St., Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre Hotel at 31 W Ohio St., Aloft Indianapolis Downtown at 136 E Market St., Tru by Hilton at 601 Russell Ave, and the InterContinental Hotel at 17 W Market St.
The buses leave from the Maryland Street Canopy across from the Westin, roughly every 30 minutes. They run Friday 7 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Saturday 5:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Sunday 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., and Monday 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
A shuttle hotel trades distance for concessions. Name parking first. Name breakfast second.
Ask for Value When the Rate Holds
Parking, breakfast, a waived early-departure fee, and a loyalty credit cost the hotel less than a cut to its published rate. Name one of them when the base rate will not move.
Put the concession in the confirmation email before you pay a deposit.
The Show Moves, So the Week Moves
Do it Best has published its next four markets. Spring 2027 runs March 5 to 7 in Orlando. Fall 2027 runs September 10 to 13 in Indianapolis. Spring 2028 runs March 24 to 26 in New Orleans. Fall 2028 runs September 8 to 11 in Indianapolis.
Indianapolis carries two of the four. The dates move each year. Price next September from next September's calendar.
