Two published dates and no published price
The 2027 SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament runs March 10 to 14 at Bridgestone Arena, 501 Broadway, Nashville. The championships page prints those dates and the venue, and states that the tournament stays at the building through 2030. No page in the conference’s ticket section carries a price for any session.
The one date on the ticket page
The SEC ticket office lists the 2027 men’s tournament tile with a single line: ticket renewals begin mid-January 2027. The 2027 women’s tile beside it carries both windows, with renewals in mid-October and tickets on sale mid-November. The men’s tile carries the renewal line alone.
A buyer gets a date to act on. The conference publishes no number to plan the room against.
Twenty-five dollars a night, or a free lot
The arena publishes its parking list with prices. First Baptist Church of Nashville Parking at 108 7th Avenue South sits adjacent at 6th Avenue and Demonbreun, and the arena sells spots in advance for $25 for shows and Predators games. Fifth + Broadway Garage at 600 Broadway sits across the street and sells on entry.
Fifth Ave. of the Arts Garage at 147 5th Avenue North publishes $10 in advance, scoped on the arena page to Predators games. Tournament week does not inherit that price. The Music City Center garage at 201 5th Avenue South is adjacent, and the arena routes it to season ticket holders by phone.
Five nights in the First Baptist lot costs $125. The Nissan Stadium lot below costs nothing.
The free lot and its published conditions
The arena’s directions page offers “complimentary parking at Nissan Stadium Lot E with optional two-way shuttle service to Bridgestone Arena and back.” The shuttle runs every 15 to 20 minutes from two hours before to two hours after the game, the lot locks two hours after the game, and riders should be ready to show a ticket. The page adds that the schedule is subject to change.
The page words the service for games. Ask the arena and the lot whether the Lot E shuttle runs for the March 2027 sessions, and hold the answer against the $125 the paid lot costs.
Five nights for a five-day tournament
The tournament opens Wednesday, March 10, and the final falls Sunday, March 14. A Wednesday arrival and a Monday March 15 departure holds five nights, and every session falls inside it. Four nights ends Saturday the 13th, and the final arrives with no room.
The only published ladder for that fortnight
HPBExpo27 runs March 3 to 6 at Music City Center. It closes four days before the tournament opens. Its official housing map lists eight downtown properties with a rate and a distance. Omni Nashville Hotel is adjacent at $309, Embassy Suites adjacent at $339, AC Hotel, Residence Inn and SpringHill Suites one block out at $329, Cambria one block out at $269, Hilton Garden Inn two blocks out at $279, and Holiday Inn Express four blocks out at $252.
A floor of $252, a ceiling of $339, and four of the eight inside one block. It is the nearest published ladder to the tournament window, and it belongs to another event.
Where the market holds firm
The first week of March is priced. Tournament week carries no public number on the conference site, the arena site, or the arena preferred hotel page, which names four partners and prints their phone lines: Renaissance Nashville Hotel, Omni Nashville Hotel, Grand Hyatt Nashville, and The Union Station Nashville Yards. ViVE opens at Music City Center on the Sunday of the final, with a block priced from $269 a night.
The firm ground is the published March 3 to 6 ladder, and the ask is to hold tournament week to it. Five nights at the $252 floor is $1,260 before tax. At the $339 ceiling it is $1,695. The gap between those figures is the room to negotiate.
Where to push
Start with the fifth night. A Monday departure after a Sunday final is the night a property can least defend. Then push the Sunday, when tournament traffic meets conference arrivals across one downtown grid. Then call the four arena partners, since none publishes a rate. Take the $252 HPBExpo27 floor to each of them for the same building in a comparable week, and ask which of the eight named properties will beat it for five nights.
The ask with a deadline attached
hotelhaggle serves the United States outside five states: California, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington. Tennessee sits inside the served area, so a Nashville group can submit a request for proposal.
The site’s own how-it-works page states that a request goes to 50+ hotels in the destination and that hotels respond within 24 to 72 hours. Its FAQ puts group rates at 10 or more rooms a night, with some properties discounting from 5 rooms depending on season and availability.
File that request before the January renewal window opens, hold a cancellable room, and settle the seat once the conference publishes a price.
