The Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District lists nine places to stay and prints a telephone number for each. None of the nine carries a rate.
Nine entries and one closure
The district's Stay page runs nine lodging entries. Stockyards Hotel carries the line Currently Closed for Renovation. The other eight take bookings.
That page holds zero dollar figures, zero rates, zero group codes, zero cut-off dates and zero mention of a room block. It prints no street address on the list itself, and addresses sit on the individual business pages.
The venue lists five preferred hotels
Cowtown Coliseum runs its own Preferred Hotels page with five properties, an address and a Book Now link for each: Hotel Drover at 200 Mule Alley, Hyatt Place at 132 E Exchange Ave, Stockyards Hotel at 109 E Exchange Ave, Springhill Suites at 2315 N Main St and Courtyard Marriott at 2537 N Main St.
That page holds zero rates, zero group codes and zero cut-off dates. Hotel Drover's entry carries 200 rooms, and every other entry stops at an address, a telephone number and a booking link.
Two lists, two answers on one building
The venue lists Stockyards Hotel at 109 E Exchange Ave with a live Book Now link. The district marks the same property as closed for renovation.
The venue also leaves out Miss Molly's Bed and Breakfast, Hotel Texas, Stonehouse Hotel and The Union at Stockyards, four entries the district lists.
Road distance from the gate
The district publishes no distance column and the venue publishes none. Road distance from Cowtown Coliseum measures 0.283 km to The Union at Stockyards, 0.348 km to Courtyard Marriott, 0.396 km to Hotel Drover, 0.475 km to Hyatt Place, 0.655 km to Stockyards Hotel, 0.761 km to Hotel Texas and 0.832 km to Springhill Suites.
Six bookable properties sit inside 0.85 km of the gate. Miss Molly's Bed and Breakfast and Stonehouse Hotel carry no distance here.
The only printed price near the gate is parking
The district parking page prints a ladder by day. Monday through Wednesday costs $12.50 plus sales tax and service fee. Thursday costs $17.50. Friday through Sunday costs $22.50. Overnight parking for 24 hours costs $32.50, and trailers and RVs cost $27.50 in the Contestant Lot off Stockyards Blvd. Valet runs $20 Monday to Thursday and $25 Friday to Sunday with tax and service included.
Premium lots carry higher posted rates, and the page takes card payment only.
The same page sets the Wednesday night at $12.50 and the overnight rate at $32.50 for a full 24 hours in a district lot.
The event that filled the arena
The NRCHA Foundation staged Big Guns in Cowtown on Wednesday October 21, 2026, at Cowtown Coliseum, 121 E Exchange Ave, Fort Worth 76164. The association names 22 riders, $30,000 in prize money and $55,000 donated to athlete-selected charities. RideTV carries a replay.
The venue's own clocks frame the night. Friday and Saturday rodeo doors open at 6:00 p.m. for a 7:30 p.m. start, and the Thursday PBR showcase runs 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The Fort Worth Herd drives longhorns down East Exchange at 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily, free.
The ask for a Wednesday night
The buyer holds one Wednesday night and the 4:00 p.m. drive. The email carries eight addresses, the district's closed entry and the parking ladder as the district price record.
The same email asks for three items in writing: the nightly rate, the group cut-off date and the cancellation term. No page on the venue, association or district estate prints any of the three.
The association's forward calendar lists the Celebration of Champions from February 13 to February 27, 2027 and the World's Greatest Horseman on February 27, 2027, both in Fort Worth. Neither entry carries a room rate, and the events calendar holds no 2027 date for Big Guns in Cowtown.
A guest who parks a Wednesday night at $12.50 and covers 0.348 km to the gate still needs one figure from the hotel.
