Four nights cover the whole run
Bricks Cascade 2027 opens its AFOL convention on Thursday, February 25 and closes the public exposition on Sunday, February 28. The Oregon Convention Center calendar lists the public show as February 27 to 28 in Halls A-A1 and labels it Public Event - Tickets Required. The organiser lists the convention as a four-day event from February 25 to 28. A Thursday arrival with a Monday, March 1 checkout gives four nights.
The organiser prints one access rule beside that span. Every convention registrant and anyone in the hall during non-public hours must be at least 10 years of age. A family buying the public weekend sits inside the two public days and outside that rule.
The garage sets what a room is worth
The convention center runs 800 underground spaces. Standard entry is $15 for up to 18 hours with no in and out privilege. During events the venue charges a dynamic $15 to $25 at garage entry. The garage generally opens at 6:00 a.m., and overnight parking is prohibited.
Four days of event parking costs $60 at the low end and $100 at the high end. TriMet MAX stops 300 times a day near the front door. The adult fare is $2.80 a tap and the daily cap is $5.60, so four days of transit costs $22.40. Transit saves $37.60 to $77.60 against the garage across the same four days.
The overnight prohibition decides the booking. A car cannot carry a guest through four nights. The garage also fills. The venue states that it can reach capacity on days with busy event schedules, that availability is first-come and first-served, and that it does not guarantee a space.
Three bookings share one garage that weekend
The February 2027 calendar lists nine events. Three of them run across February 26 to 28. In10sity Dance Competition takes the Oregon Ballroom. Pac West Cheer and Dance Nationals 2027 takes Halls D-E. Bricks Cascade takes Halls A-A1. Three attendee groups arrive on the same Friday with 800 spaces between them.
The venue answers that load in print. It recommends public or commercial transportation on days with a busy event schedule. A buyer can carry that recommendation into the rate conversation.
Ask for the two convention nights at zero
The four-night window splits in two. Thursday, February 25 and Friday, February 26 carry the convention. Saturday, February 27 and Sunday, February 28 carry the public show. Ask the property for a quote with the Thursday and Friday nights at zero and the Saturday and Sunday nights at the rate it names. Ask for every night priced by date, then the total with taxes and fees.
Two further asks fit this row. Put parking inside the rate, since the property controls the space a guest would otherwise buy at $15 to $25 a day. Ask for a checkout time after the Sunday public close, and confirm that time with the organiser in writing.
What the organiser publishes about rooms and hours
The Bricks Cascade Hotel Information page returns a permission notice to a signed-out visitor. No public block, no rate and no cut-off appear anywhere on the public site. The public pages carry no dollar figure, and the venue page carries no hotel line.
The public show hours are unpublished as well. The Public Exposition card carries a More Info control that points at an anchor on the same page. The organiser prints no opening or closing time for either public day, so a guest pricing a Saturday arrival has no door time to work from.
What the buyer brings to the table
hotelhaggle lists 103,857+ hotels across 46 states. The brand states that one request goes to every qualified hotel in the destination, and its page puts that reach at 50 or more hotels at once. A booking of 10 or more rooms routes to the group request for proposal. A submitted offer carries no obligation, and the buyer may walk away from a counter.
The published state restrictions cover Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington. Oregon sits outside that list, so a Portland stay runs through the standard name-your-price form.
Six terms to put in writing
Nightly rate by date across February 25 to 28. Total with taxes and fees. Parking treatment, inside the rate or billed at the garage. Cancellation date and the penalty after it. Checkout time on March 1. Minimum stay and any block cut-off.
Three of those terms come from the venue and hold whatever the property quotes. Tickets are required for the public show, the building takes card and touchless payment only, and the underground garage closes overnight.
