The Oregon Wine Symposium 2027 runs February 2 and 3 in Halls D-E at the Oregon Convention Center, with more than 1,200 attendees. The organiser publishes a room block at the Hotel Eastlund, 1021 NE Grand Ave, directly across from the hall. That block prices parking at $30 a night. The venue's own garage prices a day at $15.
The block as the organiser prints it
Book by Monday, January 11, 2027. The rate is $159 a night plus tax. Parking is $30 a night. Complimentary WiFi is included. Rates are available three days before and three days after the event.
The Book Your Room control points at bookings.hoteleastlund.com with an arrival of 2027-02-01, a departure of 2027-02-04 and the code ORWINE27. That window is three nights against a two day conference, so the published stay carries one night before the Tuesday start and one night after the Wednesday close.
The garage rate, printed on both pages
The symposium Logistics page puts Oregon Convention Center parking at $15 a day, and asks delegates to pay before leaving the event. The venue page carries the same floor. The standard daily entry rate is $15 for up to 18 hours, with no in and out privilege. During events a dynamic rate of $15 to $25 is charged at entry. The garage holds 800 spaces, generally opens at 6 AM and can reach capacity on a busy day.
Two facts follow. Overnight parking is prohibited in the garage. And there are 566 metered parking spaces within three blocks of the building.
What the two parking prices are worth side by side
The block parking line is twice the garage floor and 1.2 times the garage ceiling. It is also 18.9 percent of the room rate.
On the three night link window, block parking comes to $90. Two conference days in the garage come to $30 at the floor and $50 at the ceiling. The gap runs $40 to $60, and it sits on top of $477 in room rate before tax.
A guest sleeping at the Eastlund cannot move the car to the garage overnight, so the block line applies to every night of the stay. A guest who drives in for the two conference days pays the day rate for those days.
The properties the organiser names beside the block
The Logistics page lists five further properties with its own walk times: Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center at 4 minutes and 1 block, Courtyard by Marriott Portland Downtown/Convention Center at 6 minutes and 4 blocks, KEX Portland at 8 minutes and 4 blocks, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Portland at 10 minutes and 0.5 miles, and Jupiter NEXT at 16 minutes or 5 minutes by car and 0.7 miles. The organiser prices none of the five.
What to ask, in order
Ask for the overnight parking figure in writing, and for the line that applies to a guest on the ORWINE27 block.
Ask whether the parking charge can be billed at the $15 day rate the venue publishes. That takes $15 a night off the block and $45 off a three night stay.
Ask the room rate for the Sunday February 1 arrival and the Thursday February 4 departure separately, and whether the three day pre and post window holds that rate on both ends.
Ask for the total with every tax and fee itemised.
Ask for the cancellation date and the deposit amount in writing.
Ask the Hyatt Regency, the Courtyard and the DoubleTree for a rate on the same two nights. The organiser prices none of them.
Ask for a hold past January 11 at no charge while those numbers come back.
Oregon sits inside the service area
hotelhaggle lists 103,857+ hotels across 46 states, free to submit and free of any obligation to book. Its seller-of-travel page names Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington as states it cannot serve. Its help page adds California to that list. Oregon appears on neither list.
A request reaches 50 or more hotels in the destination, with responses typically inside 24 to 72 hours, and the guest pays the property directly. A party booking 10 or more rooms submits one group request and lets hotels compete on group rates. A smaller party submits a name-your-price request for the two nights and reads the counters against the $189 the block costs with parking.
