Nine days, two properties, no published rate
San Francisco Fleet Week runs 4-12 October 2026. The association publishes a Where to Stay page that names two properties for the whole run.
The Axiom Hotel sits at Union Square, within steps of the SoMa District. The page describes a pet-friendly boutique hotel in a century-old building. The offer is one sentence: a special discount for Fleet Week attendees. The booking button beside it carries promo=GOV and hotelId=66053.
Hotel Caza sits between Fisherman’s Wharf, North Beach and the Embarcadero. The page links the property website and prints no term beside it.
The page publishes no nightly rate, no room type, no room block, no group code and no booking deadline.
The air show flies on three of the nine days
The Air Show runs October 9, 10 and 11, 2026, Friday through Sunday, from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM at Marina Green. General admission is free. The show is headlined by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and staged between the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.
Ship tours run Wednesday 7 October through Monday 12 October at Piers 27 and 35, and the association labels them free. The schedule reads Wednesday 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Pier 27, Thursday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Monday 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pier 35. Five ships are named: USS Ashland, USS Cape St. George, USCGC Munro, USCGC Benjamin Bottoms and USCGC George Cobb.
The Parade of Ships runs Friday 9 October from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM along the waterfront. The association calls it free and calls it the largest Parade of Ships on the West Coast. The reviewing stand sits at Marina Green.
The Service and Safety Expo presented by PG&E runs Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October at Pier 27, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Saturday and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Sunday. The page states that admission is free. Fleet Fest at Fisherman’s Wharf runs the same hours at the SkyStar Wheel, with live music, food, a beer garden and a car show.
An arrival on Thursday 8 October reaches the Friday parade, the three air show days and the weekend ship tours. A Monday 12 October departure adds the last ship tour window.
Quote the Axiom offer against a flexible rate
The association prints a discount and no figure. Ask the property two questions on one room type: the nightly rate under promo GOV, and the nightly rate on a flexible cancellation term. Ask for both in writing. The gap between the two figures is the price of the flexibility.
The property site publishes its rates behind a booking widget, so the discount carries no published figure. Treat the rate as unpublished until the property prints it.
Hotel Caza publishes a link and no term. Ask the same two questions at that property and put both answers on one page.
The Liberty Guide terms
The Liberty Guide connects visiting service members with San Francisco businesses. Six offers carry a published term.
Parada 22 at 1805 Haight Street takes 20 percent off the bill for veterans and active duty. Red and White Fleet at Pier 43 1/2 gives a free Golden Gate Bay Cruise, Bridge to Bridge Cruise or California Sunset Cruise to military in uniform, and 15 percent off to veterans and those not in uniform. Savoy Tivoli at 1434 Grant Ave takes 20 percent off with a valid military ID and 25 percent off in uniform.
SkyStar Wheel at 2860 Taylor Street gives active-duty personnel a free ride Monday through Friday during Fleet Week. The Candy Store at 1507 Vallejo Street takes 10 percent off with a Military or Veteran ID or in uniform from 3 to 12 October. Winery Collective at 485 Jefferson Street takes 10 percent off a bottle purchase for active military and veterans from 4 to 11 October.
The guide states that eligibility, dates and redemption requirements vary by business, and asks the visitor to bring the identification a business requests. The SkyStar free ride runs Monday through Friday, and Monday 12 October is the last weekday of the run.
What the platform adds
hotelhaggle.org publishes 103,857 hotels across 46 states, with savings of 15 to 40 percent below published rates, a free submission and a response window of 24 to 72 hours. One request reaches 50 or more hotels, and the offer carries no obligation.
Group rates at most hotels start at 10 rooms per night, and the platform states that some properties discount from 5 rooms. Shoulder nights, Sunday through Thursday, run 20 to 30 percent cheaper than peak nights. A group needing 30 rooms carries three times the leverage of a group needing 10. The concession list reads complimentary breakfast, waived resort fees, free parking, suite upgrades and flexible cancellation terms.
Four states restrict name-your-price bookings under state travel laws: Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington.
The three air show nights fall on a Friday, a Saturday and a Sunday. Sunday sits inside the shoulder band, and Friday and Saturday sit outside it.
The ask
Five questions put the whole run in one request.
One: the nightly rate on the Axiom Fleet Week offer, with the cancellation term printed beside it. Two: the same room type on a flexible rate, so the two figures sit on one page. Three: an arrival on Sunday or Monday, where the shoulder band applies. Four: the concession list at the quoted rate. Five: the group threshold at your room count, since 10 rooms per night reaches the published group floor.
Send the request to more than one property. Fifty hotels answer one submission, and a counter-offer is one of the three replies the platform names: accept, counter or decline.
