The show prices every add-on and leaves the room blank
The Food Northwest Process & Packaging Expo runs January 13 and 14, 2027 in Hall A at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in Portland. The organiser bills the 55th anniversary as the biggest regional food manufacturing trade show in the United States and prints a 60,000 square foot exhibit hall. Registration is required.
Admission is published to the dollar: 49 dollars for a food or beverage processor with validation, 79 dollars for a supplier member, 149 dollars for a supplier non-member, and 49 dollars for the opening reception happy hour. Booth space is published. Directory advertising is published. Eleven sponsorship positions are published with a slot count beside each.
The room is the one line with no figure. The exhibitor prospectus runs five pages of prices and prints no nightly rate anywhere.
Four nights from the move-in calendar
Move-in opens Monday January 11 at 8 am and runs to 5 pm, then continues Tuesday January 12 from 8 am to 5 pm. Move-out runs Thursday January 14 from 3 pm to 10 pm and Friday January 15 from 8 am to noon.
That schedule sets the stay. An exhibitor who works the first move-in hour needs four nights, Monday through a Friday checkout. An exhibitor who arrives Tuesday needs three. A crew that stays for the Thursday evening teardown and flies Friday carries the Friday on the bill as well.
The hall clock differs by day. The prospectus gives January 13 as 9 am to 4 pm and January 14 as 9 am to 3 pm. The venue page prints 9 am to 4 pm for both days. Confirm which clock the floor follows before booking a same-day flight.
The corner fee is flat and the pairs are the real ask
A 100 square foot booth is 2,750 dollars on the member early-bird rate and 4,000 dollars on the non-member general rate, a 1,250 dollar gap for the same floor tile. The 200 foot tier runs 5,100 to 7,100 dollars, the 300 foot tier 7,500 to 10,500, the 400 foot tier 9,500 to 12,800 and the 600 foot tier 14,250 to 19,050 across the same four columns.
The corner fee is 250 dollars in every column. It is the same charge for a member and a non-member, on the early-bird rate and on the general rate. On a member early-bird 10 by 10 it adds 9.1 percent to the booth. On a non-member general 10 by 10 the booth and the corner together come to 4,250 dollars.
Four reception sponsorships are sold in pairs: two bar sponsors at 1,500 dollars each and two food sponsors at 1,500 dollars each. Two networking lounges are sold at 5,500 dollars each. An exhibitor who wants the category to itself has to buy both slots, which is 6,000 dollars for the reception and 11,000 dollars for the two lounges. The rest are single and exclusive: opening reception presenting sponsor 4,500, interactive floor plan and printed directory map 3,500, member services 3,000, education 3,000, lanyards 6,500, tote bags 5,500. Two charging stations sit at 3,000 each and four entrance towers at 1,495 each.
Directory advertising splits by membership on the same lines. A full page is 1,295 dollars for a member and 1,595 for a non-member, a half page 895 against 1,095, and the covers run 1,695 to 2,195.
Three dates, and the first is 13 days out
Early-bird booth pricing expires October 31, 2026, a Saturday. A reservation carries a non-refundable deposit of 25 percent of the total. Membership, which opens the lower column on every line of the sheet, is 625 dollars a year.
Directory advertising commitment is due December 1, 2026, a Tuesday, with material due December 13 and payment on net 30. The housing deadline lands later and is just as fixed: the show asks for reservations at the Hyatt Regency Portland before December 18, 2026.
The block publishes a cutoff and no rate
The housing page names one property, the Hyatt Regency Portland at 375 NE Holladay Street, and places it steps from the convention center in the Lloyd District. The page states that reservations made before December 18, 2026 hold the special room rates. No rate, room type, inclusion list or cancellation term appears beside that sentence.
The booking control resolves to a Hyatt group page carrying the code G-FN27. Loaded directly on this desk, that page returns an error screen, so no nightly figure can be read from it.
The venue garage supplies the reason a room sits closer to necessary than convenient. It holds 800 spaces, charges 15 dollars for up to 18 hours with no in and out privilege, and charges a dynamic 15 to 25 dollars at event entry. The venue’s parking page gives the opening as 6 am and prohibits overnight parking. The building is cashless, capacity is first come, and 566 metered spaces sit within three blocks.
What to put in the request
Ask for four nights, January 11 to a January 15 checkout, priced per night. Ask for that rate to be held in writing past December 18 so the booth decision on October 31 and the advertising decision on December 1 do not force an early room commit. Ask whether parking sits inside the rate. Ask for the cancellation date, because the booth deposit is already non-refundable. Ask for the walk to Hall A in minutes. Ask whether day two closes at 3 pm or 4 pm before the return is booked.
Oregon sits inside the hotelhaggle service area, which excludes California, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington. A party booking 10 rooms or more routes to grouprooms.org for a single request for proposal.
