A free gate on Sunday 1 November
The Ichimura Miami-Japan Garden holds its Fall Festival on Sunday 1 November 2026, from 10:30 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. Admission is free. The garden sits on Watson Island in Miami 33139.
The organiser lists six free items on the festival page: the Bon-Odori ceremony, a cosplay contest, a sushi making demonstration, Japanese guitar and flute performances, a haiku discussion and taiko drumming. A martial arts demonstration runs free. Ikebana workshops run free at 11am and 1:30pm and need a reserved place, booked online through a free ticket.
The page still carries a 2025 festival block dated Sunday 4 May 2025, and a series line listing Winter 1 February, Spring 3 May and Fall 1 November for 2026. The hero block carries the 1 November 2026 date and the 10:30 to 4 clock. This piece uses that block.
The one published price with a lever on it
Parking is the line that moves. The directions page sends every car to the Jungle Island parking garage. Jungle Island charges $20. The park hands a $5-off parking coupon to visitors during a festival, which brings the day to $15 for the entire day.
Ask for the coupon at the park desk on arrival. The discount comes from the park during a festival visit. A driver who goes straight into the garage pays the full $20.
Inside the gate the money is small and the list is long. The tea ceremony runs $10 and seats 25 holders at 11:15am and 25 holders at 1:30pm, with masks required during the ceremony. The sushi sample plate runs $10. The yukata experience runs $10 for children and $20 for adults for a 15-minute session with photos. Calligraphy runs $3 for one name and $5 for three. The tickets page also carries a row of miscellaneous items from $1 to $10.
The tea ceremony is the seat to hold. Fifty places exist for the day and both sittings are capped in writing. Every other paid item can be bought at the tent on the day.
Cash only, rain or shine, no refunds
The site states cash only at the event and asks guests to bring small bills for food and beverage purchases. The tickets page repeats the small bills request and adds that a payment made after 11pm on the Saturday must be shown as a receipt on a phone at the front desk.
The event runs rain or shine. The schedule is approximate and subject to change. There are no rainchecks and no refunds. A buyer who books travel around one 10:30 to 4 window carries that term through the whole trip.
Vendor spaces go first come
An inside vendor space runs $45. Outside entrance spaces 23, 24 and 25 run $25 each. The organiser sells on a first-come, first-served basis and states no refunds, no rainchecks and no change of mind after the payment button is clicked. A vendor supplies a tent and a table, and the spaces carry no electricity. Booth and sponsorship questions route to Rick DelVecchio at 305-992-0703.
Three outside spaces exist at the entrance. The inside count is unpublished.
The vendor path has two steps in writing: complete the vendor information form, then pay through the PayPal button on the page.
Where a room sits
OpenStreetMap returns 34 lodging elements within three kilometres of the garden. The nearest is Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay at 1633 North Bayshore Drive, 0.92 miles away. DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay at 1717 North Bayshore Drive sits 0.96 miles out, Hilton Miami Downtown at 1601 Biscayne Boulevard sits 1.05 miles out and The Standard Spa at 40 Island Avenue sits 1.62 miles out.
The festival runs one day and opens at 10:30 in the morning. A buyer travelling in needs the night of Saturday 31 October. The garden address sits on the MacArthur Causeway and the nearest mapped property stands 0.92 miles away in a straight line.
Parking belongs in the rate. A room that carries a garage space covers the day at no extra charge, and the festival coupon saves $5 against a $20 garage rate. Ask the property for the garage in writing and confirm the gate time.
What goes into the request
One night, Saturday 31 October into Sunday 1 November. Ask for parking inside the rate, a checkout at 9 in the morning and cancellation to 48 hours. The festival gate opens at 10:30, and a 9am checkout leaves an hour and a half.
The service scope needs one check before submission. The home page states that hotelhaggle covers 46 states. The seller-of-travel help article, updated 3 July 2026, states that the service excludes CA, FL, HI, IA and WA, and that Florida requires seller-of-travel registration and a surety bond. Get the route confirmed in writing before submitting.
The festival itself has no ticket price to argue over. The $5 coupon and the $20 garage rate are the published numbers on the day. A room rate that folds the garage in is the one line a buyer can still move.
