Nine Days, Two Weekends and a Midweek Trough

The Indiana Flower + Patio Show runs March 13 to 21, 2027 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center. The show fills two buildings, Expo Hall and the West Pavilion, at 1202 East 38th Street in Indianapolis. Marketplace Events produces the run.

The nine days break into two weekends and a five-day weekday block. Saturday March 13 and Sunday March 14 open the run. Monday March 15 through Friday March 19 carry the weekday block. Saturday March 20 and Sunday March 21 close it.

The Published Hours

Saturday March 13 runs 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday March 14 runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday March 15 through Thursday March 18 run 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday March 19 runs 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday March 20 runs 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday March 21 runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Three of the nine days carry a ten-hour window. They are Saturday March 13, Friday March 19 and Saturday March 20.

The Five Dollar Window, Monday Through Thursday

Admission at the door costs $15 for an adult. The advance online price is $13. Children aged 12 and under enter free.

The box office drops to $5 after 5 p.m. from Monday March 15 through Thursday March 18. The discount applies at the box office.

Those four days also carry the Garden Tours, which the show lists as new this year. A tour ticket costs $25 and includes show admission.

Three Free-Entry Days and One Free-Parking Day

Sunday March 14 is Teacher Day. Teachers and school staff enter free with a valid ID.

Tuesday March 16 is Senior Day. Admission is free for anyone aged 65 and over, and the show sells no advance tickets for that day.

Friday March 19 is Hero Day. Active military personnel, veterans, police and fire personnel enter free with a valid ID. The Fairgrounds waives the parking charge on that day.

Wednesday March 17 carries the holiday theme. The first 100 guests receive a voucher at the entrance for a free four-inch potted shamrock plant, redeemable at the show office in the West Pavilion.

What the Show Publishes for Rooms

The show publishes no room block and no hotel rate. Its Accommodations section names two hotels. Hampton Inn NE Castleton Indianapolis sits at 6817 East 82nd Street. Candlewood Suites Indianapolis NE sits at 8111 Bash Street. Both carry an Indianapolis 46250 postcode.

The same section names Lazy Sunday Rentals, a vacation rental company, and prints a booking code, LAZYINDYFLOWERSHOW, for 10 percent off a direct booking.

The Fairgrounds routes room requests to a Visit Indy list at reservations.visitindy.com/hotel/list/14431/i5622, described on its own Hotels page as a partnership with Visit Indy. Read on 23 September 2026, the list holds 84 properties. Every card carries the page's own message, Please enter dates to see rates, until a check-in and a check-out date are entered, so the undated view publishes no rate and no availability. The distance column on that view runs from 3.20 miles to 9.97 miles from the Fairgrounds.

The One Printed Rate, and Its Season

The show prints one nightly rate, for the Fairgrounds RV campground. The rate is $40 plus tax per day with hook-up, and the phone number is 317-927-7500.

The Fairgrounds camping page states the condition on that rate. Full hook-up sites run April through October. Electric-only hook-ups run November through March, and the dump station closes in that window. The 2027 show sits in March, inside the electric-only window. Check-in runs 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and check-out is noon. The reservation must be made before arrival.

Parking and the Discount Channels

Parking on the Fairgrounds costs $10 per day per car.

Menards sells a single adult ticket for $7.50 from participating stores starting January 22, 2027, and the offer does not run online. Ace Hardware carries half-off coupons from February 21, 2027, worth $7.50 against the box office price.

The Levers a Buyer Holds

The show publishes no room block, so the ask runs against the calendar the show itself prints.

Night selection is the first lever. The four nights from Monday March 15 through Thursday March 18 carry the lowest published admission, at $5 after 5 p.m. The three ten-hour days are Saturday March 13, Friday March 19 and Saturday March 20.

Free-entry days are the second lever. Sunday March 14, Tuesday March 16 and Friday March 19 carry free admission for named groups. Friday March 19 carries free parking as well.

The group threshold is the third lever. hotelhaggle sends one request to 50 or more hotels at once. Hotels accept, counter or decline, and responses typically arrive within 24 to 72 hours. The brand states that most hotels offer group rates at 10 or more rooms per night, and that some discount from as few as 5 rooms.

The submission cost is the fourth lever. Submitting a request is free, and the brand states that it adds no markup to the room rate. The brand home page states no commissions and no obligations, and the how-it-works page states that hotels pay a commission when a booking is made. The two lines cover different sides of the transaction, so both hold.

Which Nights to Price First

The show publishes no attendance forecast, so no source on this assignment ranks the nights by demand. Work from the calendar the show prints.

Two Saturdays and two Sundays bracket the run. The Saturday nights sit on the ten-hour days. The four trough nights sit on the $5 after 5 p.m. window.

A bidder who can move the stay should enter the show dates into the undated Fairgrounds list and read the rates that come back for that window. A bidder who needs a Saturday should submit early, because the show publishes no block holding inventory.

The brand states that Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington restrict name-your-price bookings under state travel laws. Indiana is not on the restricted list.
