The Window Now Open

The Indianapolis 8 Hour runs October 9 to 11, 2026 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The eight-hour race is Saturday, October 10. The Intercontinental GT Challenge and GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS race the same 14-turn, 2.439-mile road course. The Speedway states that cars compete into dusk.

The Speedway price table carries four purchase windows. The current one opened September 22 and closes October 11. General admission, Paddock Plus, parking and suites all sit inside it.

What Each Admission Line Reads

Three-day general admission, Friday through Sunday, reads $85. Saturday reads $40 to $45. Sunday reads $30. Friday reads $20. The Friday line has held at $20 across the last three windows.

The window that closed September 21 read $70 on the three-day line, $35 on Saturday and $25 on Sunday. The three-day step was $15.

The Speedway's Saturday page states the race starts at noon ET. The event schedule sets the race at 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Gates open at 8 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Three Single Days Against the Three-Day Line

Three single-day admission tickets now total $90 at the low end of the Saturday band. The three-day line reads $85. The gap is $5, and it closes at the high end of the Saturday band.

In the window that closed September 21 the same three single days totalled $80 against a $70 three-day line. The gap was $10.

Parking follows the same arithmetic. One three-day auto pass for Lot 2 reads $25. Three single-day Lot 2 passes read $10 each, or $30. Lot 2 is a grass lot outside the gates.

The Paddock Plus Add-On

Paddock Plus is an add-on product. The Speedway terms place it at the space on the west side of the garages between the catch fence and the garage doors. Paddock access requires a pass for every person at any age. Passes are not mailed, and collection happens on site during the event weekend.

The three-day Paddock Plus line reads $90. Saturday reads $50, Sunday $45 and Friday $45. Three single-day Paddock Plus passes total $140 across Friday through Sunday against the $90 three-day line.

Children 15 and under are admitted free with a paying adult in general admission locations. The paddock requirement applies at every age.

A party of two paying adults and two children holds three-day general admission at $170. The same party buying a three-day Paddock Plus pass for each of the four people reads $360.

What the Ticket Buys

Seating is general admission in the open grandstands and runs first-come, first-served, with garage access for all series included.

Tickets are digital, and gate admission and parking are emailed closer to the event weekend. The Speedway runs ticket, credential, parking, concession and merchandise purchases on debit or credit cards.

An optional carbon offset add-on reads $5.

Group Sales and Suites

The Speedway lists group benefits at 20 or more tickets. The premium sales team takes requests at sales@brickyard.com.

Gasoline Alley Suites sit above the straightaway. A 50-person package reads $7,500 plus tax and a 25-person package reads $5,000 plus tax. The suite copy on the same page names gate hours of October 16 to 18. This race weekend runs October 9 to 11.

The ticket office answers at 317-492-6700, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET.

Where the Leverage Sits

The window runs to October 11. A buyer weighing the trip works from four published figures: $85 on the three-day admission line, $90 on the three-day Paddock Plus line, $20 on the Friday admission line, and 20 tickets on the group threshold.

Friday practice and qualifying plus the Saturday race costs $60 in single-day admission. All three days costs $85.

hotelhaggle.org takes a name-your-price request at no charge and sends it to 50 or more hotels at once. The platform states that hotels respond within 24 to 72 hours, that 103,857 hotels across 46 states hold inventory, and that Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington restrict name-your-price bookings under state travel law.
