The rate the organiser publishes
Jump runs its Portland convention on 5 to 7 March 2027 at the Oregon Convention Center, in the Oregon Ballroom. The venue calendar and the organiser page carry the same dates.
The organiser page names one hotel. The Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center sits at 375 Northeast Holladay Street, telephone 971 222 1234. The hotel record reads a room rate of 219 dollars, single or double occupancy, with a Book a Room link to Hyatt group code G-JDCN.
The page publishes no release date and no inclusion list. A family reads the rate from the organiser and asks the hotel for the other two terms.
The Hyatt link refused a direct request on 19 October 2026, so a family books through the organiser's own button.
The notice the stylesheet hides
A second notice sits in the page source. It reads: Host hotel is currently sold out. Please use the Book A Room link above to reserve a room at one of the surrounding hotels.
The stylesheet sets that block to display none. It measures zero width, so no reader sees it. The visible block carries the 219 dollar rate and the booking link.
Both readings are on the page. Ask the hotel which one is current before you carry a rate into a budget.
The competition is full
The page carries a dated notice above the hotel record. It reads: UPDATED 10/9/26: We are now sold out for the competition.
A wait list runs through info@jumptour.com. A family that wants the classes registers for the workshop.
The two products separate here. A dancer registered for competition must take the full weekend. A workshop-only dancer has the one-day option below.
The charges that hold still
The observer wristband costs 85 dollars. A parent buys it at the Jump Store, through the studio or onsite. The store takes no cash.
The band admits a parent to the workshop classrooms. The Welcome Show, the competition and the Closing Show need no band.
The band carries no refund and no one-day version. Observers 10 years and under enter free beside a paid observer. Jump can cap observers in a ballroom and stop selling at the door.
Routine deposits cost 50 dollars each. The organiser states the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to another city. A studio that pulls a routine before the 30-day deadline can move the deposit onto the Portland balance. Ten routines carry 500 dollars and 20 routines carry 1,000 dollars before any workshop fee.
The garage charges 15 dollars for up to 18 hours, and 15 to 25 dollars at entry on event days. Three days of parking runs 45 to 75 dollars. It opens at 6 in the morning, prohibits overnight parking and guarantees no space.
What a one-day registration changes
The One-Day Workshop option registers a dancer for Saturday or Sunday. The organiser recommends Saturday, because Sunday classes often continue Saturday material.
Two limits sit on the option. A dancer registered for competition must take the full weekend, so the one-day route closes to any studio bringing routines. A one-day dancer also forfeits scholarship eligibility.
Where the 25 percent lands
Dancers who work more than one Jump regional workshop in the 2026-27 season receive 25 percent off the workshop fee for each additional city.
The discount applies to the workshop fee. It touches neither the 85 dollar wristband nor the 50 dollar routine deposit nor the garage rate.
A college rate of 275 dollars a dancer applies to ages 17 to 26 in the Senior Ballroom. The organiser bars combining it with another discount.
The clock that fixes the booking
Early registration and payment both close on 3 February 2027, 30 days before the Friday opening.
Every registered dancer under 16 must arrive with an adult of legal age. A DanceOne digital waiver also has to clear through the Dance360 account before a dancer takes class.
The weekend the building fills
Five events run at the Oregon Convention Center across 5 to 7 March. Jump holds the Oregon Ballroom and Starpower runs in Halls A-A1. Slam Dunk Cheer and Dance Championships takes Hall D, the U.S. World Open Taekwondo Championships takes Hall E, and the Abby's Closet prom gown giveaway takes Hall C. All five run on Saturday 6 March.
Two events fill the days before. Oregon GOSH occupies Halls D-E from 2 to 4 March, and The Materials Show occupies Halls A-A1-B from 3 to 4 March.
What to ask, in order
Ask for the nightly rate in writing with G-JDCN named on the confirmation. Ask for the release date, because the page publishes none.
Ask what the rate includes. Parking runs 45 to 75 dollars across three days at the venue garage.
Ask for a Thursday 4 March arrival at the same rate. Friday registration opens at 7 in the morning and the garage opens at 6.
Ask for the cancellation date on the confirmation. The organiser refunds nothing when a family cancels and issues a credit voucher towards a future Jump event instead.
For ten rooms or more, submit one group request and let hotels compete on it. Oregon carries no restriction on the name-your-price route. Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington do.
