A free parade and a priced room
The King Mango Strut runs on Sunday, January 3, 2027. The parade starts at 2 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m. The streets of Coconut Grove close at 10 a.m. Admission is free.
Marchers pay nothing to enter. The participate page lists no entry fee, no audition and no special skill requirement, and it asks for an application form and a signed waiver.
The strut site publishes no hotel partner, no room block, no nightly rate and no booking cutoff. The room and the car carry every term a guest can move.
The 10 a.m. closure sets the arrival day
A car parked on the route on Sunday morning has to clear the street before 10 a.m. A guest who arrives on Saturday, January 2 parks once and walks to the route the next day.
The route starts at the corner of Commodore Plaza and Main Highway, turns left onto Main Highway, left onto Grand Avenue at CocoWalk, and left again at Commodore Plaza.
The deck with no published rate
The event page names the Municipal Garage at Oak Avenue and Mary Street and describes it as a block from the route. The same line lists CocoWalk, Mayfair, Coconut Grove Playhouse, St. Stephens Episcopal Church and Coconut Grove Elementary School.
No page carries a parking rate for any of those addresses. Ask the property for the Oak Avenue deck rate, and ask for that rate on the confirmation.
Checkout against a 6 p.m. finish
The Mayfair House Hotel & Garden, 3000 Florida Avenue, checks out at 11 a.m. The Mutiny Hotel, 2951 South Bayshore Drive, checks out before 11 a.m. Both take late checkout as a request with a charge.
An 11 a.m. checkout hands back seven hours of a free event. Ask for a hold to 6 p.m. or later, in writing, and price it before comparing rates.
Bike valet ends at 5:30
Bike Coconut Grove runs free attended valet from 12 to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, in the courtyard of St. Stephen's church. Riders enter from the St. Stephen's parking lot on Main Highway.
The valet closes thirty minutes before the published finish. Ask the property to store a bicycle overnight and to name the storage location.
Six asks, in the order that moves a rate
1. A Saturday, January 2 arrival with a Sunday checkout.
2. A checkout hold to 6 p.m. or later on January 3.
3. The Oak Avenue deck rate on the confirmation.
4. Every mandatory charge by name and amount.
5. A cancellation date printed on the confirmation. The strut site publishes no cutoff, so the property sets that term.
6. Overnight bicycle storage, named by location.
Florida restricts this brand's booking route
The about page puts the crowd above 10,000 onlookers with hundreds of Strutters. Ten rooms and above make a request a group booking.
hotelhaggle.org's seller-of-travel page, last updated October 18, 2026, reads that the service cannot process hotel booking requests from residents of or for travel to Florida, Hawaii, Iowa or Washington. The notice covers all hotelhaggle domains.
A Florida group sends the room list to the property. Keep the rate, the fee list and the cancellation date on the confirmation.
The first number a guest can compare
The hotelhaggle directory lists 103,857 hotels across 46 states. No Coconut Grove property publishes a rate for January 2 and 3 on the strut site.
The first comparable number comes from a property, against a named arrival and a named checkout. Ask for the two-night total, then the single Saturday total. The difference prices the Sunday night, and the fee list beside the total gives the figure to compare.
