A two-night festival with a 3 a.m. exit

Lights All Night runs 30 and 31 December 2026 at Fair Park, 3809 Grand Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75210. The festival page prints the clocks for both days. Parking lots and the box office open at 5 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m. The event ends at 3 a.m. Two nights of the same shape, closing at 3 a.m. on Thursday 31 December and again at 3 a.m. on Friday 1 January.

The gate rules feed the room decision. Entry is 18 and over. Alcohol requires 21 and a photo ID. The code of conduct bans re-entry and ins and outs. Once a guest is inside, the next exit is at 3 a.m.

No block and no published minimum stay

The organiser publishes no hotel block for this festival. The tickets and location pages route lodging to Stay22, described as the preferred hotel search partner, and the search covers hotels, Airbnbs and roomshares. No page on the site names a contracted rate, a cut-off date or a minimum stay.

That leaves the price open. A party of six or eight rooms has a number to name and no block rate to answer to. The request can be built around the two nights the show uses and nothing else.

The second night carries the price

Both nights run from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m., so the room does the same work on each. The difference is the calendar. The first night ends in the early hours of Thursday 31 December. The second ends in the early hours of Friday 1 January, a federal holiday.

Price the pair, then price the second night alone. A property that will hold a rate on 31 December is the one worth a second call. The first night is the night to concede in the request. The second is the night to protect.

A 30 December arrival and a 1 January departure covers both 3 a.m. exits. A single night on 31 December covers New Year only.

Seventeen properties inside three miles

Fair Park publishes its own lodging list for the park, limited to properties within 3 miles. The list carries 17 names. Two pairs share one building: the AC Hotel and the Residence Inn at 1712 Commerce Street, and the Fairfield Inn and TownePlace Suites at 555 Evergreen Street. The 17 names therefore sit in 15 buildings, which is the count to work with when a request goes out.

Nine of the 17 publish a phone number on the venue page. None publishes a rate. The list is a call sheet, and the number of names on it is the lever: one request, sent to every name, on the same two nights.

The venue page sends readers to Visit Dallas for the full city list. The 3-mile list is the one to use when the guest has to be back at a gate at 3 a.m.

The resale exit is two listings deep

Tixel is the official resale partner, and the festival describes the market as face value. The Lights All Night listing showed 2 listings at the time of this read: a 2-Day GA from $245.76 and a 2-Day VIP from $422.54, one ticket in each, with 2 fans on a waitlist. The festival's own ticket page prints no price.

A non-refundable room rate is a bet that the plan holds. The exit for the ticket is a queue two listings deep. Ask what the room rate does when the plan moves. Ask for a cancellation window that reaches the week of the show.

Parking, transit and the walk at 3 a.m.

Fair Park holds more than 14,000 parking spaces. The venue bans overnight parking and tows any vehicle left overnight at the owner's expense. The festival says parking information will be shared closer to the event, so no event parking fee is published.

Rideshare pickup and drop-off sit at any gate. Two DART stations sit outside the park. With no re-entry, no overnight parking and a 3 a.m. close, the room carries the night.

How to shape the request

Name the two nights in one message. Ask for the pair price and the 31 December price in the same reply. Ask for a 2 p.m. checkout, because a 3 a.m. return against a noon checkout leaves a short night. Ask what the rate does when the booking moves, and put the answer beside the price.

hotelhaggle sends one request to hotels in the destination, and the hotels answer with rates. Group rates start at 10 or more rooms at most properties, and some discount from five. A single room goes to a call.
