Saturday, October 24, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Lit Crawl SF 2026 runs Saturday, October 24 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM through the Mission District. The schedule site prints that window. The organiser page carries the date and describes the night as a one-night literary pub crawl that closes the annual Litquake Festival.
The organiser counts 250-plus authors and close to 5,000 fans. Its page prints one description of the night, the world's largest free pop-up literary event. Lit Crawl started in 2004.
Three phases, 24 venues, 52 entries
The published schedule carries 52 entries. Twenty sessions start at 5:00 PM, 17 at 6:30 PM and 14 at 8:00 PM. Entry 52 is the afterparty.
The venue list carries 24 properties, of which 15 print a 94110 address. Three pre-crawl tailgates run earlier on the same day: 10:00 AM at the Mission Branch Library, 2:00 PM at The Writers Grotto, 1663 Mission St #602, and 3:00 PM at 297 Page St.
Admission carries no charge
The schedule site prints the rule. No RSVPs are necessary, and seating and space run first come, first serve.
One entry carries a price. The afterparty runs 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM at The Drawing Room: Annex, 599 Valencia St, and the programme map prints $10 beside it with the word NOTAFLOF attached. The rest of the night carries no price.
The date is the only input the night supplies
The organiser page, the schedule site and the venue list carry no room block, no group code, no cutoff date and no partner property.
The hotelhaggle negotiation page prints the shoulder-night band, with Sunday through Thursday nights at 20 to 30 percent below peak nights. October 24 is a Saturday.
Three age classes apply across the venue list
The programme map tags Martuni's at 4 Valencia St, Blondie's Bar at 540 Valencia St and the Latin American Club at 3286 22nd St as 21 and over, and Good Vibrations at 603 Valencia St as 18 and over. A group travelling with anyone under 18 reads the venue list before the route is fixed.
What one request carries
hotelhaggle sends one request to more than 50 hotels in a destination. Properties accept, counter or decline, and every response lands in one dashboard. Response time runs 24 to 72 hours. The submit step carries no charge and no obligation.
The how-it-works page prints the group threshold: most hotels quote group rates at 10 or more rooms per night, and some quote at 5. The negotiation page prints the concession list: complimentary breakfast, waived resort fees, free parking, suite upgrades and flexible cancellation terms.
The terms page states the platform service area covers the United States excluding Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington. California is on the covered list.
Two page states to read before a call
The organiser page still reads that the 2026 Lit Crawl schedule is coming soon. The schedule site it links carries the full listing. Litquake lists its office at 988 Market St, Suite 700 and its contact number as (415) 440-4177.
The close
One published admission figure, a $10 afterparty and a free Saturday night across 24 venues give a room buyer one dated input. Send the request with the date on it.
