The room file is blank
Longhorn State Tattoo Expo runs October 30 to November 1, 2026 in Exhibit Hall B at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas. The venue classifies it as a consumer show. The organiser describes a Halloween weekend of live entertainment, tattoo contests and seminars, hosted by Shine and Deanna James and presented by Sullen.
The organiser site carries a home page and seven section pages: artists, sponsors, vendors, seminars, contests, sponsorship and contact. A read on 22 October 2026 found no nightly rate, no booking cut-off, no attrition term and no block size on any of them. The Hotels item in the menu resolves to a single Hyatt group-booking link carrying the code G-GST1, and that link returns a Hyatt error page.
Every number a Dallas hotel quotes for these three nights stands on its own. No published benchmark sits behind it.
What the public record prints
The organiser home page carries the dates and the clock. Friday runs 4 p.m. to midnight, Saturday noon to midnight, and Sunday noon to 7 p.m. The address is 650 South Griffin Street.
The Eventbrite listing repeats the dates and adds the terms. The show admits all ages, children under 12 enter free, refunds run up to seven days before the event, and admission lists from $36.64 to $71.30.
15,000 rooms inside walking distance
The venue publishes the supply count on its plan-your-visit page: "Over 35,000 Hotel Rooms" for Dallas and "15,000+ hotel rooms are walkable from KBHCCD." The same page puts the 1,001-room Omni Dallas Hotel adjacent to the building.
A buyer with 15,000 walkable rooms and no posted rate can set a number and test it. hotelhaggle sends one offer to every qualified hotel in the destination. Hotels answer with an acceptance, a counter or a decline, and the submission costs nothing.
Two nights and a Friday with two shows
The stay that covers the full programme is two nights. Arrival lands Friday October 30, departure lands Sunday November 1, and the room covers the Friday and Saturday sessions that both run past midnight.
A Thursday October 29 arrival adds a third night. That night puts the buyer in the building before the 4 p.m. open.
Friday October 30 also carries the closing day of Win the Storm in Exhibit Hall C and the C Ballroom. The convention center publishes both event records on its own site. Ask every property for the room count it holds on Friday night before settling the two-night total.
Parking sets the floor for any rate
ACE Parking runs both venue lots. The garage at Memorial Drive and South Griffin Street charges $20 a day across two levels and 1,200 spaces. Lot C at 502 South Lamar Street charges $17 and holds 170 spaces. Both price by the day and by the entry, and both fill first come.
Three show days cost $60 in the garage or $51 in Lot C for one vehicle. A room inside walking distance takes that charge off the weekend. A room outside it carries $51 to $60 into the rate.
The one concession to ask for in writing
Ask for a free cancellation deadline of Friday October 23, 2026.
That date is the last day the ticket comes back. The listing gives seven days, and seven days before Friday October 30 is Friday October 23. A room on a later deadline leaves the buyer committed after the ticket stops being refundable.
Put the request inside the offer. State the date, the two nights, the room count and the waiver in one line. A hotel that counters on rate and accepts October 23 has handed over the term that decides whether the weekend can be cancelled.
Two further items belong in the same written reply: the parking charge the property levies per night, and the room count the property will hold.
Where to send the request
Texas sits outside the four states the platform cannot serve. hotelhaggle takes a free submission, sends the offer to qualified Dallas hotels, and returns accepted rates, counters and declines in 24 to 72 hours. Name the price, name October 23, and let the properties answer.
