Two shows, one weekend
Markets for Makers runs 21 and 22 November 2026 in the Special Events Center at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 U.S. Hwy 301 N. Both days run 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Tampa Oddities and Curiosities Expo runs the same two dates in Expo Hall and Entertainment Hall. Makers traffic enters at the MLK Blvd entrance, Gate 3. Oddities traffic enters at the U.S. Hwy 301 entrance, Gate 1.
A guest attending both shows on one day moves the car between the two gates.
Seven hotels, no rate
The fairgrounds Trip Planning page names seven hotel partners. Each entry carries a distance figure.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tampa Fairgrounds Casino sits 0.2 miles out and directly across the street. Wyndham Garden Tampa Fairgrounds/Casino sits 1.5 miles out, opened in 2025, and lists free Wi-Fi and parking. Staybridge Suites Tampa-Brandon sits 2.7 miles out. Hilton Garden Inn Tampa-East/Brandon sits 2.8 miles out. Courtyard Tampa-Brandon sits 4.4 miles out. Cambria Hotel Tampa-Brandon and Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa East both sit 5 miles out.
No partner entry carries a nightly rate, a group code, a room block or a cut-off date. Admission and parking carry the weekend's published prices.
The admission ladder
The organiser sells an all-weekend VIP ticket at $16. It carries a Saturday first-picks hour from 10 to 11 a.m., an XL tote, a dedicated entry line and access to both days.
Saturday single-day entry prices at $12 after 11 a.m., $10 after 1 p.m. and $8 after 3 p.m. Sunday repeats the ladder at $12, $10 and $6.
The fairgrounds event page lists admission as a range from $6 to $18. Children 12 and under enter free.
The Oddities expo sells advance general admission at $15 and day-of admission at $20. Children 12 and under enter free there too.
Parking, sold by show
The venue event page lists parking at $10 online and $12 at the gate. The organiser adds the operating rules. Parking gates open one hour before the event start. RVs and buses pay $16. The gate takes cash and cards.
The fairgrounds parking portal sells a separate $10.00 product for each show, good for one entry. The Makers product enters through MLK Blvd. The Oddities product enters through the U.S. Hwy 301 entrance. The price includes convenience fees, and the ticket does not refund or transfer.
Two days at the gate cost $24. Two days bought in advance cost $20.
A visitor who drives between the shows on one day buys a parking entry for each show.
What free parking is worth
Wyndham Garden lists free parking among its amenities. That saves $10 in advance or $12 at the gate on each day of the stay, so $20 to $24 across the weekend.
A buyer carries that figure to any other property on the list. A property that matches it has moved $20 off the weekend, and the room rate is the next line.
The cheaper entry
Sunday afternoon entry costs $6 per adult after 3 p.m. Two adults pay $12 for the show and $10 for advance parking, so $22 before a room.
Saturday morning entry costs $12 per adult. A pair pays $24 for the show and $10 for advance parking, so $34 before a room.
Florida sits outside the request platform
hotelhaggle publishes its seller-of-travel position on a page last updated 21 October 2026. The company cannot process hotel booking requests from residents of, or for travel to, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington.
The page names Florida as not currently registered as a Florida Seller of Travel. It also states that the restriction covers grouprooms.org, hotelhaggle.org, hotelslots.org, bookmyteam.org and partners.hotelhuddle.com.
For this Tampa weekend the request goes to the property directly, with the published numbers attached.
