The venue calendar sets the rate conversation
The Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds sits at 10901 Coral Way, also written 10901 SW 24th Street, in Miami 33165. The venue rents the same address all year. Its published calendar carries 54 dated entries running from September 2026 into November 2027, and the Rental Facilities page counts more than 70 events a year. A buyer who prices a block off one event misses the rest of that calendar.
Two counts for one year, both from the organiser
The Rental Facilities page states that the Fair Expo Center accommodates more than 70 events including trade shows, corporate retreats, concerts, outdoor festivals, private parties and weddings. The About page states that the fairgrounds serve as the home to more than 80 shows and events through Fair Expo Center. Both figures come from the venue. The published listing carries 54 dated entries. Write the range, and read the concurrent-event calendar before you agree to a rate.
The 21-day fair is the anchor
The Youth Fair runs March 18 to April 11 in 2027, with March 29 and 30 and April 5 and 6 dark. That is 21 operating days out of 25 calendar days, and the fair opens 154 days from the date of this piece. The About page reports more than 500,000 guests at the 2025 fair and ranks the event among the top 35 fairs in North America. A group arriving inside that window buys into a city hosting half a million visitors.
Long runs carry a month of demand
Three entries on the same calendar run for weeks. Sounds of Screams opens September 24 and closes November 1, 2026, on the Grounds. Nights of Lights runs November 27 through December 31, 2026. The Living Proof Crusade takes the Grounds from February 7 to February 10, 2027. Each window carries a month of repeat attendance, and the listing prints every one of them.
Single-day entries fill one night
Most entries on the listing run one day. The Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk takes the Grounds and Main Gate on October 17, 2026. The Faith and Family Festival takes the Grounds, Arnold Hall and Reilly Coliseum on May 1, 2027. The venue prints an approximate capacity of 7,460 for Arnold Hall and Reilly Coliseum, so a one-day entry can put a full block on a single night.
The February weekend that uses five halls
The second weekend of February 2027 stacks two events. The Miami Grit Classic runs February 12 to 15 across Arnold Hall, Reilly Coliseum, Edwards Hall and the Fair Expo Grille. The Miami Winter International Open for Jiu-Jitsu runs February 12 to 14 in the Fuchs Pavilion. The January 30 to 31 and February 6 to 7 Tri-County Volleyball Challenge weekends use all five venue labels. The venue prints approximate capacities of 7,460 in Arnold Hall and Reilly Coliseum, 6,920 in the Fuchs Pavilion and 5,083 in Edwards Hall. Two halls running the same weekend draw on one city inventory.
Four hundred hookups cut the room count
The Fairgrounds page states that water, sewer, electrical and phone connections, including hookups for 400 recreational vehicles, sit underground, and that the site holds 22 acres of asphalt. Those 400 rigs book no hotel rooms. The Rental Facilities page describes 86 acres of flexibility and The Fairgrounds page describes an 80-acre facility. Take the acreage as a band and take the hookup count as the figure that changes a room block. Price the attendees you expect to need a bed.
The venue publishes no room block
The venue site publishes no room block, no group code, no cut-off date and no rate. The directions page notes that the posted vehicle entrances and the rideshare drop-off apply to the annual fair and may not apply to events through the rest of the year. Ask the organiser for the concurrent-event calendar for your dates in writing, and ask the hotels for the two nights on either side of your group.
The Florida disclosure
The hotelhaggle seller-of-travel page states that the brand cannot process hotel booking requests from residents of Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington, or for travel to those states, because those states require travel sellers to hold registrations and financial assurances. Miami sits in Florida. A Miami group sends its request to the property directly, or to a travel seller registered in the state.
The brand publishes more than 103,857 properties across 46 states. Its how-it-works page puts group rates at 10 or more rooms per night, with some properties working from 5 rooms depending on season, and states that the buyer pays the hotel directly with no markup.
What to ask the venue
Ask Sira Camilo, the director of the Fair Expo Center, for the calendar of concurrent events on your dates. The published contact is (786) 315-5266 and scamilo@fairexpo.com, with an event request form on the venue site. Set the block off the venue calendar and off your own headcount together. Neither the venue nor the bureau inventory publishes a per-night rate for a Coral Way room. The venue’s request form is the route to one.
