Six sessions, six price points, one published page

Major League Table Tennis plays a regular-season weekend at the Oregon Convention Center, 20 to 22 November. The venue page prints Hall A and the three dates. The ticket shop prints six sessions, each with a price for every seat class.

The sessions run Friday at 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm, Saturday at 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm, and Sunday at 11:00 am and 2:30 pm.

The opening session sets the floor

General admission costs 15 dollars at the Friday 4:00 pm session and 25 dollars at the Sunday 2:30 pm session. The kids, student and senior seat costs 10 dollars and 20 dollars on the same two sessions. Courtside costs 30 dollars and 45 dollars. VIP costs 45 dollars and 60 dollars.

The Friday 7:30 pm and Saturday 4:00 pm sessions carry 20 dollars general admission, 15 dollars reduced, 35 dollars courtside and 50 dollars VIP. The Saturday 7:30 pm session carries the Sunday 2:30 pm numbers. The Sunday 11:00 am session carries the Friday 4:00 pm numbers.

Between the opening session and the closing one, general admission moves 10 dollars, the reduced seat 10 dollars, courtside 15 dollars and VIP 15 dollars.

The fee line is published too

Each session page prints a from price above the ladder. The Friday 4:00 pm page reads from 12.55 dollars against a 10 dollar reduced seat, so 2.55 dollars sits on the ticket. The weekend pass page reads from 107.50 dollars against a 100 dollar general admission pass, so 7.50 dollars sits on that one.

The pass arithmetic

Two Friday general admission singles cost 35 dollars and the Friday pass costs 30. Saturday singles cost 45 and the Saturday pass costs 40. Sunday singles cost 40 and the Sunday pass costs 35. Each day pass covers both matches that day and saves 5 dollars.

Six general admission singles across the weekend cost 120 dollars. The weekend pass costs 100. The shop marks the Friday 4:00 pm session and the Friday pass as few tickets available. The weekend pass is listed as available.

The group line is published

The session page states that groups of 10 to 14 save 10 percent, groups of 15 or more save 15 percent, and groups over 20 get on-court moments and player access. The contact is groups@mltt.com. Ten Friday general admission seats cost 150 dollars at face and 135 dollars on the published 10 percent line.

Two nights carry a three-day programme

Two matches run each day. Doors open one hour before first serve and each session runs about two hours. A guest who wants the whole weekend books Friday and Saturday nights and checks out Sunday. The last session starts at 2:30 pm and runs to about 4:30 pm, so a noon checkout drops that session from the trip and a 2:00 pm hold keeps it.

The garage terms

The venue publishes 800 garage spaces, clearance of 7 feet on P1 and 9 feet on P2, and 15 dollars for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privilege. A dynamic rate of 15 to 25 dollars is charged at garage entry during events. Overnight parking is prohibited and the garage opens at 6:00 am. There are 566 metered spaces within three blocks.

The event band is charged per entry, so a guest who leaves the garage between the two Friday sessions pays it twice.

No room block is published

The league site carries no hotel page, no property name, no rate, no group code and no cutoff. Its only lodging reference is a link to hotelplanner.com. The venue page carries no hotel content either.

The November venue calendar puts the league in Hall A from 20 to 22 November and the Hoffman Annual Meeting and Dinner in Oregon Ballroom 202-203 on 20 and 21 November. Two events share the building and the garage on the same two nights.

Oregon sits inside the hotelhaggle service area. The brand's seller-of-travel notice lists Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington as unavailable, and its help page adds California; Oregon is on neither list. The brand page describes the mechanic: the offer goes to 50 or more hotels, each hotel accepts, counters or declines, and the guest is never required to book. The same page routes a party booking of 10 or more rooms to groupRooms.

What the ladder changes in the ask

The published ladder gives the guest a fixed number to hold against the room and a fixed number to hold against the car.

One: a Friday and Saturday rate quoted as two separate nights, so the Friday night is priced on its own. Two: a 2:00 pm Sunday checkout or a stored bag, because the last session runs to about 4:30 pm. Three: the nightly parking charge named as a line with its amount, against the 15 dollar daily band and the 15 to 25 dollar event band. Four: a cancellation date printed on the confirmation, because the garage offers no overnight option. Five: a written group rate for 10 rooms or more through groupRooms, submitted while the ticket side already carries 10 percent at 10 guests and 15 percent at 15.

The Friday 4:00 pm general admission seat costs 15 dollars, or 10 dollars for a child, a student or a senior. On that session the room and the garage are the whole cost of the trip, and both are lines a buyer can move.
