A weekend that publishes six gates and no room
Major League Table Tennis brings its 2026-27 season to Hall A at the Oregon Convention Center from Friday January 15 to Sunday January 17, 2027. The venue lists the run as a ticketed event. The league calls itself the first professional table tennis league in the United States, founded in 2023, and plays ten teams across Season 4, September through April, over 16 weekends.
Six sessions are on sale and every seat class carries a price. No room rate is published.
The pass wins only if you take all six
Friday January 15 at 4 pm, Carolina against Bay Area, lists at 45 dollars VIP, 30 courtside, 15 general admission and 10 for kids, students and seniors. Friday at 7:30 pm, Atlanta against Portland, runs 50, 35, 20 and 15. Saturday at 4 pm, Carolina against Atlanta, runs 50, 35, 20 and 15. Saturday at 7:30 pm, Bay Area against Portland, runs 60, 45, 25 and 20. Sunday at 11 am, Bay Area against Atlanta, runs 45, 30, 15 and 10. Sunday at 2:30 pm, Carolina against Portland, runs 60, 45, 25 and 20.
The six general admission singles add to 120 dollars against a 100 dollar weekend pass, so the pass saves 20. Take any five of the six and the singles come to 95 dollars, because the two 25 dollar sessions are the ones a buyer drops. A fifth session therefore costs 5 dollars less than the pass, and the pass pays from the sixth session onward.
Day passes follow the same shape at a smaller scale. Friday general admission runs 30 dollars against 35 for the two sessions, Saturday 40 against 45, Sunday 35 against 40, so each day pass saves 5 dollars. The courtside pass arithmetic is wider: six courtside singles come to 220 dollars against a 185 dollar weekend pass, a 35 dollar saving.
Saturday afternoon is the tight session
Of the ten listings on the shelf, the 4 pm Saturday session is the one flagged with few tickets available. Every other session and every pass reads tickets available. Doors open one hour before first serve and the format runs about two hours, four singles and a doubles match split by a ten minute intermission, then the Golden Game.
Group pricing sits on the ticket page. Ten to 14 seats save 10 percent, 15 or more save 15 percent, and a party over 20 gets on-court moments and player access through groups@mltt.com.
The Sunday close sets the night count
The last session starts at 2:30 pm Sunday and runs about two hours, so it ends near 4:30 pm. A Friday arrival with a Sunday checkout is two nights and puts the Sunday match on a departure day. A Monday checkout is three nights and carries the last session without a rush.
The only lodging link is a logo
Neither the league site nor the venue page carries a hotel, a rate, a block, a code or a cutoff. The only lodging reference on the league site is an anchor wrapping a partner logo, and it points at the hotelplanner.com home page with no league path, no property, no offer and no figure attached. The venue page returns nothing on the same search.
That silence is the story. A buyer who knows the six gate prices to the dollar can price the weekend and cannot price the bed, so the first request sets the anchor.
What the silence is worth
Ask for a nightly rate for the Friday and the Saturday in writing. Ask for a Sunday checkout at 5 pm so the last session and the bag drop fit. Ask whether parking sits inside the rate. Ask for the walk to Hall A in minutes. Ask for a group rate on ten to fourteen seats to pair with the published discount. Ask for the cancellation date and the deposit amount. Ask the same questions of a second property and set the two answers against each other.
The Oregon Convention Center garage holds 800 spaces, charges 15 dollars for up to 18 hours with no in and out privilege, and charges a dynamic 15 to 25 dollars at event entry. The venue’s parking page gives the opening as 6 am and prohibits overnight parking. The building is cashless, and 566 metered spaces sit within three blocks.
Same building, same Saturday
The venue calendar also lists the Pacific Office Automation Annual Meeting and Dinner in the Portland Ballroom on January 16, the Saturday of the tournament, and an MLK Day brunch run by the Urban League of Portland on January 18. Two audiences share one garage on the night most buyers want, which is a demand fact a request can name.
Oregon sits inside the hotelhaggle service area, which excludes California, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington. A party booking 10 rooms or more routes to grouprooms.org for a single request for proposal.
