Four performances and no published price
Monster Jam Freestyle Mania Presented by Spin Master runs at Moda Center from Friday 5 March to Sunday 7 March 2027, and the weekend carries four performances. Friday is a single 7:00 p.m. show. Saturday runs at noon and again at 6:00 p.m. Sunday closes at noon. The Rose Quarter page prints the Friday start, and the venue's parking widget lists all four shows by date and clock.
The weekend carries no published price. The Rose Quarter page heads its date line multiple dates, prints Time: TBD above the 7:00 p.m. start, leaves the doors and estimated end fields blank, and offers a Get tickets control. That control resolves to a ticketmaster.com page, and no face value appears on the venue page.
A hotel asked for a rate on a weekend with no ticket price, no room rate and no cut-off has little to measure against. Ask for an all-in total before naming a number of your own.
Seven properties inside a published radius
The Where To Stay page states its own radius: hotel options within 2 miles of Moda Center. It names seven, each with a phone number and a Check Availability control.
Hotel deLuxe (503) 219-2094. Hotel Eastlund (503) 235-2100. Canopy by Hilton Portland Pearl District (971) 351-0230, a 153-room building in the Pearl. Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center (971) 222-1234, described on the page as steps from both the Convention Center and Moda Center. The Benson Portland (503) 228-2000. Crowne Plaza Portland Downtown Convention Center (503) 233-2401. Cambria Hotel (971) 430-3115.
None of the seven carries a nightly rate, a group code, a cut-off date or a deposit term. Ask each property for those four terms in writing.
One night carries three of the four shows
Count the nights against the schedule. A Friday 7:00 p.m. ticket needs a Friday night. A Saturday noon ticket, a Saturday 6:00 p.m. ticket and a Sunday noon ticket all need a Saturday night, because a noon start on Sunday rules out a Sunday arrival for anyone driving in from outside the metro.
Ask for the Friday night first. A property looking at a single evening show has one night of arena demand to price against. A buyer who needs both nights should ask for them priced separately before accepting a blended figure.
The site's negotiation guide puts shoulder nights, Sunday to Thursday, 20 to 30 percent below peak nights. Friday and Saturday sit outside that band, so the argument here rests on the performance count.
The weekend does publish one price: $28 to park
The parking page on the Rose Quarter site carries three embedded JustPark widgets and no dollar figure in its own text. Open the Moda Center widget and select the event. The Friday 7:00 p.m. listing prices two garages at $28.00 a space. East/West Garage at 1550 N Flint Ave is a 7-minute walk, 0.4 miles. Garden Garage at 2 N Ramsay Way is a 4-minute walk, 0.25 miles. The Sunday noon listing prices the same two garages at $28.00.
The venue publishes $28 a space for those two garages on the show nights. A property that waives parking gives away a measured $28 a night, and a property that charges its own garage rate adds a line the buyer can already calculate.
Build the ask before you dial
Four questions, in this order, for each of the seven. What is the rate for the night of Friday 5 March and the night of Saturday 6 March, quoted separately. What is the total for both nights with every mandatory fee included. What does parking cost at the property for those nights. What is the deposit, and what is the cancellation term, in writing.
The order matters. A property that answers the rate first quotes a room and leaves the extras open. A property asked for the all-in total has to commit to the fee structure before it knows what the buyer will accept.
No source on this row publishes a nightly rate, a deposit term, a cancellation ladder or a cut-off for this weekend. Get every term in writing.
Set the walk-away as a total
With no published room rate, build the walk-away as a total: two nights of rate, plus $28 a space for every night the car sits, plus any urban fee the property confirms. Take the offer with the smallest gap between quote and total.
The desk to call first
The Rose Quarter box office answers on (503) 486-1470 and opens two hours before any event. The venue publishes no room rate for any of the seven hotels within two miles. Open the call on the four terms, ask for Friday on its own, and set the walk-away total first.
