One Saturday at Keller

The Chinese Friendship Association of Portland brings the Oregon Lunar New Year Celebration to Keller Auditorium on Saturday, February 6, 2027. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The venue address is 222 SW Clay St, Portland, OR 97201.

Reserved seating applies. Everyone over age 1 must have a ticket. The page reads “Details to be announced soon,” and it publishes no run time.

Tickets start at $62.94. The venue page states that prices include all fees, that prices are subject to change, and that it sells no refunds or exchanges. A 10-ticket limit applies to each purchase. Ten seats at the starting figure price at $629.40, and a party of eleven splits across two transactions.

The Meter Clock and the Curtain

The Keller parking page lists the options in three lines. Street parking is metered, and payment runs until 7:00 p.m. Pay surface lots carry signs in the surrounding area. Smart Park garages and other surrounding garages sit in the same list.

Put the meter term against the show clock. A driver who parks on the street at 6:30 p.m. pays the meter for 30 more minutes.

A city garage takes the car out of the meter window.

Five City Garages, Two Caps

Portland runs five Smart Park garages downtown, with rates effective July 1, 2026. Every one charges $2.35 for the first hour, $4.70 for the second, $7.05 for the third and $9.40 for the fourth. The all-day cap over four hours runs $13 at Naito and Davis, $15 at 10th and Yamhill, at 4th and Yamhill and at 3rd and Alder, and $18 at 1st and Jefferson.

Two caps apply to a Saturday. An arrival after 5 p.m. on a Friday or Saturday that exits by 5 a.m. caps at $5 for the night at four garages and at $6 at Naito and Davis. A Saturday or Sunday daytime park caps at $7 for the day. The page does not say how the two caps combine across an overnight stay.

Two addresses answer the walk. The Keller places the building at the corner of 3rd and Clay. The 3rd and Alder garage carries a 621 SW 3rd Ave address, on the same avenue.

The Property on the Venue's Street

Portland'5 lists 27 nearby hotels on its Where to Stay page, each with a street address. The page publishes no nightly rate for any of the 27. One of them sits on the venue street: The Hotel Zags at 515 SW Clay St, against the Keller at 222 SW Clay St.

The Hotel Zags publishes its own parking schedule. Overnight self-parking runs $43 per night for hotel guests, with unlimited in and out privileges. Daytime event parking runs $22. An oversized vehicle runs $53.

Set the $43 against the $5 evening cap at a city garage and the gap is $38 for the night. Set it against the $7 Saturday day cap and the gap is $36. A parking credit of $38 closes the gap, and that is the number to put in the request.

Daytime event parking at the hotel runs $22 for a window a city garage caps at $7.

The Two-Hour Extension

The Hotel Zags publishes check-in at 4:00 p.m. and check-out at 12:00 p.m. A Saturday arrival at 4 p.m. and a Sunday departure at noon holds the room for 20 hours. A 2 p.m. departure holds it for 22 hours.

The hotel prices the extension twice on its own site, and the two ladders do not match. The policies page reads that a departure after 12 p.m. carries $45 plus tax per hour up to 3 p.m., at which point the charge becomes the best available rate for that night. The FAQ page reads that a 2 p.m. checkout carries a single $45 fee, that a departure after 4 p.m. carries an additional full night at the registered rate, and that an unrequested late checkout carries 50 percent of the registered rate.

Two hours at the policies ladder prices at $90 plus tax. The same 2 p.m. departure prices at $45 under the FAQ. Both numbers sit on the hotel site. Ask for the extension in writing at booking and quote the ladder the desk confirms.

The Fee That Stays on the Bill

The same property adds a guest amenities fee of $30 plus tax per room per night. At the 17 percent tax rate the site prints, the fee lands at $35.10. The fee sits outside the room rate and outside the parking line.

Ask on the same call whether the fee applies to a single night, and ask for it as a credit against the parking charge.

How to Put the Request

hotelhaggle sends an offer to every qualified hotel in the destination and returns the responses in 24 to 72 hours. The platform covers 46 states. Its FAQ names four states that restrict name-your-price bookings under state travel laws: FL, HI, IA and WA. Oregon sits outside that list.

Write four lines into the request. One: arrival Saturday, February 6, 2027, one night, one room. Two: a $38 parking credit against the published city garage cap. Three: a 2 p.m. checkout at no charge, or at the $45 figure the hotel FAQ prints. Four: written confirmation that the $30 amenities fee applies once for the night.

Price the answer against the tickets. Two seats at the $62.94 starting figure cost $125.88. A city garage caps a Saturday evening at $5 and a Saturday day at $7. Both lines are checkable at the desk on arrival.
