The Exhibit Calendar Is Published Before the Room Calendar
The Orthopaedic Research Society holds its 2027 Annual Meeting from 19 to 23 February 2027 at the Moscone West Convention Center in San Francisco, per the venue event calendar. Exhibitors are on the floor from 20 to 22 February, and the society puts the reach at approximately 2,300 leading orthopaedic researchers. Two evening poster and exhibit receptions sit inside the schedule. The society has published the terms that price a booth. It has not published a hotel page.
One Date Carries a Rate, a Position and a Commitment
The exhibitor page and the prospectus state that booths reserved and paid by 30 November 2026 are eligible for a 20 percent discount. Booth space is assigned on a first come, first serve basis, on receipt of the application and full payment to the ORS office, and an application received without payment is not assigned space until payment arrives in full, priority cases included. The discount date and the position date are the same date. A company that waits for a room rate gives up the floor slot it would have priced from.
What the 20 Percent Is Worth on the Published Ladder
The published booth prices run from a University Tabletop at $2,500 to a Premier Pod at $15,000. A Standard 10 by 10 booth is $4,500, a Premier 10 by 10 is $4,900, a Standard 10 by 20 is $7,500, a Premier 10 by 20 is $8,000 and a Standard Pod is $13,800. The published 20 percent is worth $900 on a Standard 10 by 10, $1,600 on a Premier 10 by 20 and $3,000 on a Premier Pod.
The Cancellation Date Moves the Money to 2028
The second date is the exit. Booth cancellations must be received in writing by the Events Specialist, Mary Roti, by Monday 4 January 2027. No booth refund is issued. A full or partial payment for booth space is applied to the 2028 Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana. A company that cancels in writing inside that window keeps the value as a credit against the next meeting. Two forfeiture rules sit beside it. Space not occupied by 6:00 p.m. on Friday 19 February 2027 is forfeited and reassigned without a refund, and exhibitor payments must be made in full before booth personnel are allowed into the exhibit hall.
The Rest of the Calendar That Prices the Same Weeks
A novelty item not manufactured by the exhibitor needs an image emailed to the ORS office for written approval by Thursday 31 December 2026, and premiums are expected to cost $25 or less per item. Move-in runs Friday 19 February from 2 to 6 p.m. Move-out runs Monday 22 February from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Exhibit hall hours are 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, then 10 a.m. on Sunday and Monday, and the page states that the exhibit schedule is tentative.
Badge Counts Set the Room-Night Count
Each credential a company holds covers one person for the nights the hall is open. A 10 by 10 booth carries one full access badge and one exhibit only badge. A 10 by 20 booth carries one full access badge and two exhibit only badges. A pod carries two full access badges and three exhibit only badges, plus one app poll and one push notification. Extra credentials sit on their own ladder: one full access badge at $1,520, one additional exhibit hall badge at $375, two at $725 and three at $1,050, all non-transferable.
The Add-Ons Are Capped and Sold in Order
The prospectus treats the in-app inventory the same way as the floor. Eight mobile app polls are available on a first-come, first-served basis, two administered each day from Friday to Monday, with a maximum of two per company; one poll is $1,500 and two are $2,500. Ten push notifications work the same way, two each day from Friday to Tuesday. Website rotating tile ads are limited to three advertisers per cycle.
No Hotel Page, No Rate and No Block to Compare Against
The room side of this meeting is unpublished. A sweep for hotel, lodging, accommodation and room block returns no hits across the annual meeting page, the exhibit and sponsorship page and the exhibitor prospectus. The society's hotel pages run from 2018 through 2026, and the 2027 candidates return an error page. The meeting page navigation carries no hotel and travel item.
The Ask That Fits the Calendar
A company can settle the booth in November and the rooms in the same week, because the room side has no rate card to wait for. Unpublished room terms also mean the block is priced from the market rather than from a card. hotelhaggle states that it serves the United States excluding California, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington, so a company sourcing rooms for this San Francisco meeting takes its terms from the hotel directly. Pay the booth by 30 November 2026 and put the room ask out in the same week.
