Eleven partners, five codes
The 2027 Biamp Portland Jazz Festival runs March 4 to 13, 2027. PDX Jazz lists eleven hotel partners on its travel page. Five publish a percentage off the room. Three publish food and drink offers. Three publish nothing.
The five codes
The Benson Portland, 309 SW Broadway, publishes its Music Venue Discounted Rate at 15 to 20 percent off all room types per night, March 5 to 14.
Hotel Vance, 1455 SW Broadway, publishes 20 percent for festival guests from March 5 to 14, with code S2514 under Special Rates, then Corp/Promo Code.
The Hoxton Portland, 15 NW 4th Avenue, publishes 20 percent from March 5 to 14 with promo code SHINDIG.
Inn at Northrup Station, 2025 NW Northrup St, publishes 15 percent off any room type from March 1 to 20 with promo code PDXJAZZ. Every stay carries an on-site parking pass, continental breakfast and Portland Streetcar tickets.
The Mark Spencer Hotel, 409 SW Eleventh Avenue, publishes 20 percent off a stay during the festival with promo code JAZZ, and attaches no dates.
What no page publishes
The travel page prints no nightly rate, no minimum stay, no room-night cap, no cut-off date and no attrition term. The percentage is the only priced unit on it.
At a quoted $200 a night, 20 percent lands the room at $160 and nine nights move from $1,800 to $1,440. At 15 percent the same nine nights land at $1,530. The property's own quote replaces that arithmetic.
Two labels name the wrong weekday
The Hyatt Regency at the Oregon Convention Center dates its food and beverage specials at Spoke and Fork to Friday, March 6 and Friday, March 13. Both dates fall on a Saturday in 2027.
The Nines dates its buy-one-get-one drink special to all day Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8. March 7, 2027 is a Sunday and March 8 is a Monday.
Quote the label to the property and confirm the night before planning around either offer.
Three partners with no offer
The Duniway, Hilton Portland Downtown and The Jupiter NEXT publish no offer. Hilton Portland Downtown lists 455 guest rooms and more than 44,000 square feet of event space. The Benson lists more than 13,500 square feet of meeting space. The Hoxton lists 119 bedrooms.
What to put in the request
Ask for four things in one message: the nightly rate the code returns for the exact dates, whether that rate holds for every night of the stay, the rate for March 4 on its own, and any parking or destination fee added at checkout.
Three of the five windows open on March 5 and run to March 14. The festival opens March 4. Inn at Northrup Station's March 1 to 20 window is the one published window that covers opening night. The Mark Spencer code carries no date, so that property has to confirm it.
The performances dated so far
The organiser's announcement dates six performances across five nights. Emmylou Harris plays the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on Friday, March 5, with the Daniel Lanois Trio opening. Lila Downs plays the Roseland Theater on Saturday, March 6. Daniel Lanois and Particle Kid play the Alberta Rose Theatre on Wednesday, March 10, the same night Brian Blade and The Fellowship Band play The Reser. Stanley Clarke and Hiromi play Revolution Hall on Friday, March 12. Larry Carlton closes at the Aladdin Theater on Saturday, March 13.
The release names more than 25 ticketed performances and says later announcements carry the rest. It names no March 4 performance.
The ticket clock
PDX Jazz opened its member presale on Tuesday, October 13 at 10 a.m. Pacific, and the public on-sale on Friday, October 16 at 10 a.m. Pacific. The policy reads: "No refunds or exchanges. All programs, artists, dates, times, and venues are subject to change."
How hotelhaggle works
hotelhaggle sends a request to the hotels in a destination. The terms page states a target of five hotel responses within seven days, and no obligation to accept any quote. Oregon sits outside the four states the platform excludes, which are Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington.
