Five days, three halls
The Portland Boat Show runs Jan. 13 to 17, 2027, at the Portland Expo Center, 2025 North Expo Road, in Halls C, D and E. Doors run 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Marketplace Events produces the show. Metro operates the venue.
The venue calendar lists admissions as "To be announced." The producer page carries the ticket line.
The coupon turns $40 into $20
General admission is $20. Children 12 and under enter free, and the producer adds one qualifier: "Fees may apply."
The producer publishes a printable coupon. Its terms read: "Save $20 on adult admission when you print out this coupon and bring to the box office at the show. This coupon is a 2 for 1 discount, and is only good when purchasing two tickets. It is not valid for 1/2 off a single admission. Coupon has no cash value."
Two adults pay $20 for the pair with the coupon and $40 at the window.
The coupon arrives through a form that asks for a name, an email address and a ZIP code. The file opens in Acrobat Reader. Print it before the trip.
A couple with three children under 13 pays $20 at the gate with the coupon, because the children carry no ticket.
Parking charges per entry
The venue reads "Parking is typically $15 per car per entry" and warns that special-event prices may vary. The producer restates it: "$15 per space charged by the facility. No in/out privileges."
The producer publishes the evening rule: "There is an after 5PM parking special Wednesday, Thursday and Friday where parking on these days, after 5PM is FREE...a $15 savings!"
Five morning entries at $15 is $75. A car that enters the lot after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday pays nothing.
Transit removes the second entry
The MAX Yellow Line stops at the Expo Center station. The venue describes the station as a short walk from the entrance. The producer prints the same instruction: "Take the Max Yellow Line."
A car parked at the hotel makes one entry when it moves.
Four nights from Wednesday
Four nights, Wednesday Jan. 13 to Sunday Jan. 17, sit on the whole show. That arrival opens on a free-parking evening. It also clears a 9 p.m. close on the first night without a second entry the next morning.
Ask for the Thursday night at the Wednesday rate once the Sunday departure is fixed.
Put the whole trip in front of the property
Give the property one number. Four nights of room, plus $15 for each vehicle entry the stay will make, plus $20 for the gate with the coupon, plus the travel cost to Portland. Ask the property to beat that total.
Open with the total. A property that holds the room rate can still move breakfast, an airport transfer or a late checkout, and each of those is money.
Name the parking figure on the call. Say which evenings the free window covers.
No published rate
No page on this show carries a hotel rate, a room block, a group code or a cut-off date. The venue page names no property. The producer page names no property.
Ask for the group code and ask where the property publishes it.
Advance parking passes
The venue sells parking in advance through its own store, listed as "Advance parking passes coming soon!" on Oct. 20, 2026.
Price a pass against $15 per entry before buying one. Ask whether the pass carries in-and-out privileges, which the standard entry does not.
The numbers
Gate: $20 for two adults with the coupon. Parking: $15 per entry, free after 5 p.m. Wednesday to Friday. Transit: MAX Yellow Line to the Expo Center station. Nights: four, Wednesday to Sunday. Rate: unpublished.
