The American Northwest Portland Nationals DI/DII runs Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6, 2026, in Hall D at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. both days. Children under 5 enter without a ticket.
The venue card prints Sunday, 12/5 and Monday, 12/6. December 5, 2026 falls on a Saturday, and the organiser's page reads 12/5/2026 to 12/6/2026.
No rate on either page
The venue card carries the dates, the hall and the door times. The organiser's event page carries the programme and the ticket link. Neither publishes a hotel rate.
The one published route
Varsity Spirit routes housing through Team Travel Source. The organiser's event accordion carries a Housing button that opens the partner's Varsity landing page at teamtravelsource.com/varsity/stay-smart-overview.
The Portland event carries the Housing Rewards designation. The landing page holds a per-event table and a booking link for each row.
What the guarantee promises
Team Travel Source publishes a Lowest Rate Guarantee. The comparison has to be identical: same room type, same dates, same included amenities, same payment terms and same cancellation terms.
The guarantee runs only until the contracted cut-off date, which the page describes as approximately one month before the event. After the rooms return to the hotel, the hotel sells what is left at rates the guarantee does not cover.
What the guarantee excludes
Rates found on Expedia, Travelocity, Hotels.com or Priceline do not qualify. Membership rates such as AAA and AARP do not qualify. Corporate negotiated rates, government rates, employee and friends-and-family rates and every prepaid or non-refundable rate fall outside it. TTS Live events are excluded outright, with the rates set by demand.
Booking fees paid through Team Travel Source do not count toward the room rate or the comparison.
How a family holds a number
One. Save the search result for the exact dates in view, with the property, room type, nightly figure and total. The comparison turns on those fields matching.
Two. Ask Team Travel Source in writing for this event's contracted cut-off date, naming the Portland event row.
Three. Ask the property to confirm the room type, the dates, the parking charge and any breakfast term, because amenities form part of the comparison.
Four. Date the comparison against the cut-off. Doors open December 5, so a cut-off one month prior closes the claim window in early November.
