The Native American Rehabilitation Association of the Northwest holds its Sobriety Powwow in Halls A-A1 at the Oregon Convention Center on Thursday, 31 December 2026, from 1 p.m. to midnight. The venue lists it as a public event and prints one contact number, 503-224-1044.

The venue page carries no admission price and no ticket link. A buyer who wants the gate figure calls the organiser. The venue does publish the building: the door clock, the garage and the Wi-Fi.

Eleven hours on one date

The event runs from the 1 p.m. open to the midnight close. Thursday, 31 December is the only date on the venue's December calendar with a midnight finish, and the month carries eight events.

The midnight close sets the stay. One night, 31 December into 1 January, covers the whole programme.

The garage rate and its limit

Parking costs $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privileges, and a stay past 18 hours draws additional fees. Event days carry a dynamic rate of $15 to $25 at entry. The garage holds 800 spaces, opens at 6 a.m. daily, and prohibits overnight parking.

Overnight parking is prohibited, so the car leaves the garage before the guest sleeps. A driver prices one garage day for the programme and one property charge for the night.

Wi-Fi as a published value

Wireless access is free in all lobbies and meeting rooms. Outside those areas the venue sells Basic service at $12 a day and Business Class at $50 a day, paid by card. A room that includes Wi-Fi carries the value of the tier a guest would otherwise buy.

The second night

A second night runs into Friday, 1 January. The venue calendar lists no convention center event on that date, so the extra night buys a later checkout. An arrival before 31 December adds a night ahead of the programme.

What to ask the organiser

The convention center is the landlord. It publishes the room, the garage and the Wi-Fi, and the event terms sit with the Native American Rehabilitation Association of the Northwest at 503-224-1044.

Ask three things on one call: whether admission is charged, what it costs, and whether a ticket is needed in advance. The answer sets what the room competes against.

Seven properties and their distances

The hotelhaggle directory carries seven properties in the Lloyd District. Distances below are straight-line from 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, read on 19 October 2026.

Inn at the Convention Center — 420 Northeast Holladay Street, 97232, 273 metres. Motel 6 — 518 Northeast Holladay Street, 97232, 299 metres. Hotel Eastlund — 1021 Northeast Grand Avenue, 97232, 330 metres. Hyatt Regency — 375 Northeast Holladay Street, 97232, 343 metres. Quality Inn Downtown Convention Center — 431 NE Multnomah, 97232, 494 metres. Courtyard by Marriott Portland Downtown/Convention Center — 435 NE Wasco Street, 97232, 571 metres. DoubleTree by Hilton Portland — 1000 NE Multnomah Street, 97232, 764 metres.

None of the seven publishes a rate for the date.

What to put in writing

Ask for the 31 December rate with tax and the cancellation date itemised. Ask what the property charges for parking on the night. Ask what time checkout runs on 1 January against a midnight close.

Then stack the known costs: one garage day at $15 or at the event band, the Wi-Fi tier at $12, and the gate at whatever the organiser quotes on the phone. A room rate below that stack, with the parking term in writing, is the booking to take.
