Portland Wedding Show: the $5 Ticket Window Closes November 23

The $5 price runs to November 23

The Portland Wedding Show runs 23 and 24 January 2027 in Hall D at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. General admission carries three published prices. The $5 tier closes on Monday 23 November 2026, 35 days from today.

A ladder in three steps

The show FAQ states the ladder in one sentence. General admission costs $5 before 23 November 2026, $10 through opening day and $20 once the show starts.

The checkout page holds the same ladder behind the ticket and prints the live figure. General admission reads $5 today. VIP All-Access reads $30.

Fees sit on top of both. The $5 ticket carries a 5 cent processing fee and a $1.20 application fee, so checkout reads $6.25. That is 25 percent above the printed price. The $30 VIP ticket carries a 30 cent processing fee and a $2.08 application fee, for $32.38 at checkout.

The VIP tier sells in advance only. The show limits one VIP ticket per order, and the early entry covers everyone who arrives with the VIP holder. The checkout inventory lists 400 VIP tickets in supply and four sold, which leaves 396.

What the ticket buys

A ticket works on either day or both. A hand stamp carries the buyer back in on Sunday. Every person in the group needs a ticket, so a partner, a parent and a friend add three tickets to the order. Children under 12 enter free and need no ticket.

General admission starts at 11 AM on Saturday and 12 PM on Sunday. VIP entry starts at 10 AM Saturday and 11 AM Sunday. The floor closes at 4 PM Saturday and 3 PM Sunday.

Where the money sits

A $5 ticket saves $15 against the $20 door price. A hotel room for the wedding weekend costs more than the whole ticket order. The show runs a Guest Accommodations category with three exhibitors: Jupiter Hotel and Jupiter NEXT, Rosswood Event Center and River's Edge Hotel, and Skamania Lodge.

None of the three publishes a room rate on the show site. A couple with a date already booked can walk the floor with a room requirement and ask each property for a number in writing.

The question to carry to the booth

The show FAQ states that many vendors come with show-only pricing or booking incentives. The general admission description promises the chance to take advantage of exclusive show-only offers.

No show-only price appears on the site. Ask for the figure in writing with an expiry date attached. A verbal number gives nothing to compare against the next booth.

The show adds a second lever. A couple who signs a contract and pays a deposit with an exhibiting vendor during the show enters Signed, Sealed and Rewarded. The prize pays 10 percent of the contract value, capped at $250, and four winners are drawn, two per day.

Entry carries rules. The couple brings the signed contract and the receipt to the check-in desk at least 30 minutes before the close. The drawing runs 15 minutes before the close. The winner must be present, each contract adds one entry and one prize applies per couple. Payment goes to the vendor 30 days before the wedding date.

The cap decides the value. A $2,500 contract returns the full $250. A $25,000 contract returns the same $250.

Walking in at 11 AM Saturday with a date booked

At the Saturday opening hour the $5 and $10 tiers have closed. The published price for a walk-in is $20. The buyer pays four times the November figure for the same floor.

Three things carry into the door. Vendor offers stay on the floor for both days. The ticket covers Sunday as well, and a hand stamp puts the buyer back inside. The drawing stays open to any couple that signs and deposits during show hours, up to 30 minutes before the close.

The 10 AM VIP hour on Saturday has passed at that door. That early entry is the one part of the ticket a walk-in cannot recover.

Practical points for the day

The venue runs cashless. It accepts credit and debit cards and touchless payment only, so a deposit at a booth needs a card.

Parking sits in the underground garage. Vehicles enter at NE Lloyd Blvd for P1 and NE First Avenue for P2. Clearance reads 7 feet on P1 and 9 feet on P2. The garage holds 800 spaces and charges $15 for up to 18 hours, with a dynamic $15 to $25 at entry on event days.

MAX stops near the front door. The Portland Streetcar A Loop arrives at NE MLK and Hoyt every 15 minutes. TriMet bus line 6 stops in front of the building.

The short version

Buy general admission before 23 November 2026 and pay $6.25 at checkout. Buy in January and pay $10 plus fees. Buy at the door and pay $20 plus fees.

Spend the booth time on the line item that dwarfs the ticket price. Three accommodation exhibitors will be on the floor with no published rate, and that conversation moves a wedding weekend budget.
