The Ladder The Organiser Published

Portola Music Festival published every 2026 pass price on its own site. The 2-Day GA pass started at $399.95. Saturday GA started at $269.95. Sunday GA started at $299.50. The 2-Day GA 4-Pack carried the same $399.95 rate for each of its four passes. The 2-Day VIP pass started at $779.50. Saturday VIP started at $459.95. Sunday VIP started at $459.95. The 2-Day VIP 4-Pack carried $699.95 for each of its four passes.

Every festival pass includes a $2 sustainability fee. The GA block and the VIP block each carry the line "Upfront Pricing: No Added Fees."

Every 2026 pass type is listed Sold Out. The festival home page carries the line "THANK YOU SAN FRANCISCO."

Two Sums A Buyer Can Hold

The ladder prices a single day against a weekend. Saturday GA plus Sunday GA comes to $569.45. The 2-Day GA pass came to $399.95, $169.50 below the two single days. Saturday VIP plus Sunday VIP comes to $919.90. The 2-Day VIP pass came to $779.50, $140.40 below the two single VIP days.

Those sums price access before the room enters the budget. A party of two on 2-Day GA passes carried $799.90 in ticket spend. A party of four carried $1,599.80. A household order is capped at eight passes.

A buyer who holds those numbers quotes a room against a published access cost. The ticket line is set. The room line is the one still open on the day of the quote.

The Clock The Payment Plan Printed

The organiser staged its own collection. A $49.99 down payment plus equal biweekly payments through July 31, 2026 was available through June 15, 2026. A 34 percent down payment plus equal biweekly payments through July 31, 2026 ran June 15 to June 30, 2026. A 50 percent down payment plus the remaining half due July 31, 2026 ran June 15 to July 15, 2026. The fee is $4 per installment. Plans applied to orders above $100.

Those terms print three deposit dates and one closing date. The last payment fell on July 31, 2026, eight weeks ahead of the festival weekend. A room block with a deposit date on the same calendar keeps both cash flows visible in one place.

The Window The Room Has To Cover

The festival ran Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026 at Pier 80 in San Francisco. Venue doors opened at 1 p.m. PT both days. The curfew was 11 p.m. PT. The festival takes place indoors and outdoors at Pier 80.

The organiser publishes the travel window. A free shuttle loops between Pier 80 and the 24th St. Mission BART Station from 12:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The Muni T Third line stops at Third/Marin, one block from Pier 80. Union Square-Market St, Chinatown and Yerba Buena/Moscone stations stay open until 1 a.m. The last southbound Caltrain to San Jose departs 22nd Street Station at 12:10 a.m. Parking at Caltrain stations costs $5.50 for the day.

Those hours mark the two nights a weekend room has to hold. The general information page carries the line "There is no parking at the festival." The plan page carries the line "THERE IS NO FESTIVAL PARKING AVAILABLE AT PIER 80." The main entrance is at 900 Marin St, San Francisco, CA 94124.

The Terms The Buyer Pins In Writing

Portola publishes its own terms. The event is 21 and over on the day of attendance. Entry requires a physical government-issued photo ID. The site accepts no school ID, no expired ID, no photocopy and no digital ID. There is no re-entry. All sales are final, with no refunds, cancellations or exchanges. The name on the original order cannot change. The 2-Day pass cannot be shared. The event is cashless. Passes load into an AXS account, and the mobile ID refreshes every 60 seconds, so a screenshot does not scan.

Ask the hotel for the matching list: the rate, the cutoff date, the cancellation date, the deposit date, the parking charge and the fee list in one document.

What The Sold Out Label Says

Every 2026 pass type carries the Sold Out label. Pass supply for the 2026 edition is closed. The published ladder is the record of what the market paid for that supply. The organiser caps a household order at eight passes, so a larger party needs more than one order, and each order carries its own final sale.

Price The Stay On The Published Band

hotelhaggle sends one request to 50 or more hotels. The hotels see the competitive field and return their offers to one dashboard. Responses land in 24 to 72 hours. You pay the property directly and the platform adds no markup. The submission carries no fee and no obligation.

The platform publishes a savings band of 15 to 40 percent below published rates. The platform publishes one date rule. Nights from Sunday through Thursday run 20 to 30 percent cheaper than peak nights. September 26, 2026 is a Saturday and September 27 a Sunday, so the first festival night fell on a peak night and the second sat inside the shoulder band.

Group rates apply at most properties from 10 rooms per night. Some properties discount from 5 rooms. Concessions stay available when the rate holds. The platform names complimentary breakfast, waived resort fees, free parking, suite upgrades and flexible cancellation terms.

The Next Edition Has No Published Date

The 2026 festival weekend has passed. The organiser's published pages carry no 2027 date. A buyer who needs a 2027 window waits for the organiser to print one. The published ladder of the 2026 edition is the pattern to watch for.
