Scan Fair Fills Two Days, and the Garage Charges Twice

Scan Fair 2026 runs Saturday, 12 December from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 13 December from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Halls A-A1 at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Portland. Nordic Northwest runs the market, and this is the 42nd annual edition.

The gate price sits behind the organiser's ticketing portal, which opens on a login screen. No public page on this listing prints the ticket price or a refund term. The organiser does print one date: "Early Bird Tickets End November 30th!"

The venue page still asks readers to check back for news on when tickets go live. Treat the venue card as the schedule and the organiser as the seller.

The clock and the two days

Saturday runs seven hours and Sunday runs six. The market holds both days, and the Sunday close at 4 p.m. sets the checkout that matters.

Two halls on one Saturday

The venue calendar lists the Crafty Wonderland Holiday Art + Craft Market in Hall D from 11 to 13 December, and Scan Fair in Halls A-A1 on 12 and 13 December. Two halls fill the same Saturday, and one garage serves both.

The venue states the garage can reach capacity on busy days, works first come first served, and does not guarantee a space. Scan Fair shares its Saturday with a market that runs a Friday opening party.

The garage charges for each entry

Standard parking costs $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privileges. Event days carry a dynamic rate of $15 to $25 at entry, and the venue does not publish which figure a given day draws. Overnight parking is prohibited.

Two entries across the weekend cost $30 at the standard rate, or $30 to $50 at the event band. The booths take cards and touchless payment.

One night or two

A Saturday arrival with a Sunday departure is one night and covers both market days. A Friday, 11 December arrival with a Sunday departure is two nights, and the second night holds the Saturday. A Saturday arrival with a Monday, 14 December departure is two nights, and the second night sits after the close.

The Sunday close is 4 p.m. A noon checkout leaves four hours on the clock. The Monday buys a later checkout and carries no programme.

Price the Saturday on its own. Ask for the Friday and the Saturday as separate rates, because a weekend average hides the premium on the night between the two market days.

What the room has to beat

A buyer holds three published figures: the $15 standard garage day, the $15 to $25 event band, and the $30 to $50 total for two entries. A property that quotes a room with parking included can be measured against that total in one message.

Seven properties and their distances

What to put in writing

Ask for the Friday and Saturday rates separately, with tax, the cancellation date and the parking charge itemised. Ask whether the charge covers garage entry, garage parking, or neither. Ask what time checkout runs on Sunday against the 4 p.m. close.

The venue is cashless, and that runs to the garage booths.
