One night under a two-day championship
Slam Dunk Cheer and Dance Championships runs Saturday 6 March and Sunday 7 March 2027 in Hall D at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Portland. The organiser's flyer prints one clock for both days. Doors open 7:30 a.m. Warmups begin 8:00 a.m. Competition starts 8:30 a.m. Awards run through the day.
That clock makes one night the whole stay. A team arrives on Friday 5 March or before 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. It leaves after competition on Sunday. The night of 6 March carries the demand.
Tickets sell at the booth. The organiser's notice reads Pre-sale is not available for this event. Tickets can be purchased upon arrival at the venue ticket booth. No gate price is published.
The organiser publishes no mandate
The flyer states the housing position in its own words: We are not stay to play, but we offer great rates with our partnering hotels! Link is on the website under the Events and Hotels.
Nothing in the entry process ties a family's room booking to a team's registration. The venue page and the flyer carry no housing bureau, no rooming list deadline and no booking window.
The buyer keeps the ask. A request can go to one property and to a second one the same afternoon.
The partner link does not resolve
The flyer prints www.pacificcoastcheerbrands.com as the route to the partner hotel list. On 20 October 2026 that name returned no address from Google Public DNS or from Cloudflare, over http and over https. The domain is unregistered.
The property list, the event rate and any booking code therefore stay unpublished. The venue page carries two organiser contacts, 253.339.0710 and pacificcheercobrands@gmail.com. Ask both for the list and the rate in writing.
Five bookings share that Saturday
The venue's March 2027 calendar lists five bookings across 5 to 7 March. Jump Dance Convention takes the Oregon Ballroom from 5 to 7 March. Starpower National Talent Competition takes Halls A-A1 from 6 to 7 March. Slam Dunk takes Hall D. "Abby's Closet" Prom Gown Giveaway takes Hall C from 6 to 7 March. The U.S. World Open Taekwondo Championships takes Hall E on 6 March.
All five include Saturday 6 March. The mandate question stays open. The order of work does not, because a walking-distance room on that night goes to the team that asked first.
Parking is the cost the guest carries either way
The venue garage holds 800 spaces on two underground levels. Entry runs off NE Lloyd Boulevard into P1 and off NE First Avenue into P2. Clearance is 7 feet on P1 and 9 feet on P2. Standard entry costs $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privileges. Events charge a dynamic $15 to $25 at the gate.
The garage opens at 6 a.m. against a 7:30 a.m. door. Overnight parking is prohibited. The booths take cards and touchless payment only, and the garage bars RVs, campers and trucks with trailers. Ten accessible spaces sit on P1 and 11 on P2, first come first served.
Ten cars at event entry cost $150 to $250 for the day. The alternatives are 566 metered spaces within three blocks, MAX light rail stopping 300 times a day near the front door, and the Portland Streetcar A Loop every 15 minutes.
Quote the $15 standard rate and the 800-space count to a property. A rate that includes the garage takes that line off the team ledger. Ask a property that excludes it for a per-car nightly figure in writing.
What the request should carry
Ask for six items on one document. The nightly rate for Friday 5 March and again for Saturday 6 March. Every mandatory charge by name and amount. Parking, inside the rate or priced per car per night. A cancellation date that reaches the day of arrival. The Sunday checkout time against a competition day. Written confirmation that the rate holds for the room count named.
Oregon sits outside the four states that restrict name-your-price bookings under state travel law. hotelhaggle lists Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington on its seller-of-travel page. A Portland request runs the standard mechanic, where the buyer names a price and hotels accept, counter or decline.
Submission costs nothing. Hotels respond within 24 to 72 hours. The platform publishes a 15 to 40 percent band against published rates. The guest pays the property directly and walks away from a counter-offer at no charge.
One night carries the stay. Name the price for 6 March and let the property answer.
