Sounds of Screams: three terms a group can still negotiate

The close is 1 November

Sounds of Screams runs nightly from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair grounds, 10901 SW 24th St, Miami, Florida 33165. The site sits next to Florida International University. The ticket page dates the run as Now to November 1st. One ticket covers five haunted houses, the scare zones, the carnival rides and the park across 13 acres.

What the checkout charges

Adult general admission is $39.99 plus a $2.18 fee, which totals $42.17. A Fast Pass is $99.99 plus a $4.28 fee, which totals $104.27 and includes general admission. Child general admission is free for ages nine and under. A Child Fast Pass totals $62.87.

The higher tiers carry more. The Season Pass totals the same $104.27 as the Fast Pass and adds unlimited visits through the season. VIP tickets run $349.99 for adults and $339.99 for children under six, which total $363.02 and $352.67 with fees. The Behind the Screams package totals $519.29. The ticket engine adds a 7 per cent local sales tax line at checkout on every tier.

Two supply counts sit on the ticket page. Twelve VIP tickets and fifteen VIP Passes remained on 15 October 2026. The season pass pool held 952 of a 1,000 allotment on the same read.

The two nights the season pass cannot be used

The Season Pass carries blackout dates of October 31 and November 1. Those are the closing Saturday and the closing Sunday of the run.

A group that visits on either night buys general admission or a Fast Pass. A group that visits before those dates can use the pass on every other open night.

Three totals and one break-even

Adult general admission runs $42.17 a night. Two nights cost $84.34. Three nights cost $126.51. The Season Pass answers from the third visit onward.

The Fast Pass totals $62.10 more than one night of adult general admission. It buys priority access to all five houses.

The advertised rate and the checkout rate

The park home page advertises general admission at $44.99 and up, and a Fast Pass at $99 with general admission included. The live checkout on the same site charges $42.17 for adult general admission and $104.27 for the Fast Pass.

A group that repeats the advertising figure pays $2.82 more per adult ticket than the checkout asks.

The discount rules the site does not publish

The ticket engine carries two percentage rules on the presale any-day admission tier and on the Fast Pass tier. One reduces those tiers by 15 per cent and the other by 10 per cent. Each rule opens on a named tracking code. A further rule carries 50 per cent against one product in the catalogue.

No page on the site publishes a group rate, a volume table, a minimum headcount or any of those codes. Volume pricing sits in the ticket engine, and the storefront does not mention it.

The term that decides the negotiation

All ticket sales are final. The park states that it issues no refunds and no exchanges for inclement weather, for long wait times, or for a guest who cannot complete an attraction. A ticket is valid only for the date and the time slot named at purchase.

That term carries a 20-room group further than any rate. A group that commits to forty date-locked tickets holds forty tickets it cannot move if the trip shifts, and the park publishes no exchange route.

What twenty rooms puts on the table

Twenty rooms at two guests a room is forty adult general admission tickets at $42.17, which is $1,686.80 for the group. Forty Fast Passes at $104.27 is $4,170.80.

Those numbers are the opening position. The ask is a written rate for a named night, a named headcount and a named change rule. The ticket volume is the trade, and the change rule is the concession worth more than the discount.

The room half sits outside this platform's service area

The park site runs seven pages, and none of them carries a hotel, a lodging partner, a room block or a group code. No room rate is published on the domain.

hotelhaggle publishes the states it cannot serve: Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington, for requests from residents of those states and for travel to them. The disclosure carries the date 15 October 2026 and states that the restriction applies across every hotelhuddle property. A Miami group arranges the room half with a property directly.

The platform's own guide still answers the room side. It states that a request reaches 50 or more hotels, and that shoulder nights from Sunday to Thursday run 20 to 30 per cent below peak nights at the properties it serves.

Where the money is still open

The Season Pass pool held 952 unsold passes on 15 October 2026, and the pass stops working on the closing weekend. The Fast Pass and the Season Pass carry the same $104.27 checkout total. The group ladder sits in the ticket engine and no page publishes it.

Ask before 1 November for the volume rate, for the closing-weekend terms in writing, and for a change rule beside the final-sale term. Those three items are the whole negotiation the published pages leave open.
