Two Clocks Sit Under Every TDX Booking

Salesforce dates TDX 2027 for March 10-11, 2027 in San Francisco. The save-the-date list is open. Registration is not. The event page publishes the two days, the city and a sign-up form. It publishes no price, no venue and no housing terms for that edition. The series does publish the paper it ran for the 2026 edition. That paper carries two clocks. A buyer can read one against the other.

The Badge Ladder

TDX 2026 ran its refunds on written notice to the event help desk at tdx@salesforce.com. A notice received by 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific on Friday, March 13, 2026 earned a full refund of the registration fee. A notice received between 12:00 a.m. Pacific on Saturday, March 14, 2026 and 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific on Friday, March 27, 2026 was processed at 50 percent of the fee. No refund was processed for a notice received after 12:00 a.m. Pacific on Saturday, March 28, 2026. The same ladder governed the fees for the Trailblazer Bootcamp and for every class and event sold with the conference. Substitutions were free of charge if submitted by 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific on Friday, March 27, 2026. The 2026 Full Conference pass cost 799 dollars. The Bootcamp add-on started at $1,899.

Where Those Dates Landed

The 2026 conference opened on Wednesday, April 15. The full-refund cut-off sat 33 days out. The 50 percent band ran from 32 days out to 19 days out. The no-refund wall landed 18 days before the doors opened. That is a five-week decision window on the badge. Inside it sits a 14-day band where half the money comes back. The ladder is three dates. The middle one keeps a plan alive.

The Room Clock Runs on 24 to 72 Hours

The official hotel list carries 15 properties between 0.1 and 0.9 miles of the hall. Each property carries its own cancellation term. Eight hold 24 hours. Two hold 48 hours. Five hold 72 hours. A missed deadline costs one night of room and tax. A no-show cancels the whole stay, and the hotel may refuse to reinstate the reservation for a guest who arrives a day late. Every rate on that list ran until March 23, 2026 or until the block sold out. A one-night deposit became chargeable after March 24, 2026.

The Order That Keeps Both Options

The badge refund closes March 13. The block rate lives until March 23, ten days later. The 50 percent badge band closes March 27. The switch to booking the hotel direct lands March 30. A buyer who waits for the published block rate has spent the full-refund window. A buyer who books the room first has committed a night of deposit against a badge that is still refundable. The ask that holds both is a written request for the property to hold the room on the same 24 to 72 hour term the list prints. Send it while the badge is still fully refundable.

Two Documents, Two Room Windows

The conference FAQ answers the hotel cancellation question with a range of two weeks to five days before arrival, depending on the hotel. The hotel list prints 24, 48 or 72 hours for the same 15 properties. Ask the property for its own policy in writing. The penalty clause on both documents is the same one night of room and tax.

The Group Path Trades the Ladder Away

Group registration sells from five Full Conference passes. The FAQ states that refunds are not available at any time on any pass in a group purchase. The group terms bar combination with any other offer, discount or promotion. They also require each attendee to book a room individually. The refund ladder above is a single-ticket instrument. One piece still moves. The group representative can reassign an unused pass, and a hotel cancellation must come from the original registrant.

Concessions to Ask Beside the Rate

The block rate is one published number. A request sent to several properties at once puts the same two nights in front of several rate managers. Their answers can carry terms the list does not name. Ask for complimentary breakfast, waived resort fees, free parking, suite upgrades and flexible cancellation terms. Flexible cancellation is the term that lets the room follow the badge ladder. Both nights of this conference fall on a Wednesday and a Thursday. The network's group brand takes requests from 10 rooms and quotes savings of 15 to 40 percent.

What the 2027 Edition Has Not Published

No term in this calendar belongs to 2027. The 2027 event page publishes the dates, the city and a save-the-date form. Its record holds no price, no venue, no refund ladder, no hotel list and no cut-off date. The 2026 cards are the published benchmark, and the 2027 edition lands 36 days earlier in the calendar year. Every 2026 date is an offset. Ask the organiser for the 2027 ladder and the 2027 hotel list in writing before a deposit leaves the card.

The Two Dates to Watch

Watch the badge clock for the decision and the room clock for the exit. The badge gives a full refund to 33 days out and half a refund to 19 days out. The room gives 24 to 72 hours. Send the request early. Ask for flexible cancellation in writing. Let the room answer follow the badge. A name-your-price request is free to submit, hotels answer in 24 to 72 hours, and a few states (FL, HI, IA, WA) restrict name-your-price bookings under state travel laws.
