Six Days to the Door Price Rise

The pass clock and the room clock

TechCrunch Disrupt runs October 13 to 15, 2026 at Moscone West, 800 Howard Street, San Francisco. On October 7 the door rise is six days out. Registration is open. The conference's attendee room block is closed.

The conference says prices increase at the door on October 13. The tickets page states it as a register-before line: save up to $100 when you register before doors open on October 13. Every pass on the page today carries a figure below its regular price.

What each pass costs before the rise

Six passes carry a public price. Attendee is $949 against a regular price of $1,049. Founder is $999 against $1,099. Investor is $1,099 against $1,199. Non-Profit is $399 against $499. Student is $349 against $399. Expo+ is $299 against $349. The first three differ by $100, which is where the up-to-$100 line comes from.

Two further discounts run beside the single-pass price. Groups of four to nine take 15 percent off the current full-ticket rate. Groups of ten or more take 30 percent off. A Bundle Pass order takes 15 percent off the Attendee, Investor, Non-Profit and Student passes, with the page showing a starting figure of $220 per pass. Every pass in a bundle order must be the same type.

The half-price second pass closes at 8 a.m.

The Buy One Get One offer ends October 13 at 8 a.m. PT. Buy one ticket at regular price and the second one is 50 percent off. The offer covers Attendee, Investor, Founder, Non-Profit, Student and Expo+ passes. That deadline lands before the door rise on the same date, so the second pass is the first discount to expire on October 13.

The refund window shut on July 31

A full refund of the ticket purchase price required an email to events@techcrunch.com by July 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PT. After that date the page states that tickets are nonrefundable for any reason. One exception sits on the page: if TechCrunch lowers a price or runs a promotion for the same pass type within seven days of a purchase, an email with proof of the offer returns the difference to the original payment method.

Transfer runs on a narrower track. Select ticket types are eligible, the recipient has to qualify for the same type, and the request goes through a form in the registration email. Once a badge is printed, the ticket cannot move to another person. The badge name has to match a government photo ID, and the page states that IDs are checked at registration and at the conference doors every day.

The conference's own room block is closed

The hotel page still lists an attendee rate programme through a reservation partner, 38 North Connections, reached at TechCrunch@38NConnections.com. Four properties are named with a distance from Moscone West. Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA sits 0.2 miles away. Hotel Zelos San Francisco and InterContinental San Francisco each sit 0.3 miles away. Grand Hyatt San Francisco sits 0.5 miles away.

No page prints a rate for any of the four. The programme runs first come, first served, and the FAQ answers the duration question in one line: these exclusive rates are available while rooms last. The page states that each reservation can be cancelled or modified without penalty, that there is zero upfront cost, and that rewards points and loyalty programmes work as expected.

The booking page behind that programme now reads "Online Hotel Room Block is closed for TechCrunch Disrupt 2026" and "Hotel Reservations Are Now Closed". It lists direct contacts for six properties: InterContinental San Francisco, Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA, Hotel Zetta and Hotel Zelos, Grand Hyatt San Francisco, YOTEL San Francisco, and Timbri Hotel San Francisco, Curio Collection by Hilton. Its deposit line states that a chosen hotel may charge one night's room and tax on or around September 18, 2026.

The room question with a countdown attached

A conference that is still selling passes six days before the doors open has no block to book. The pass deadline is published, the hotel page carries no price, and the partner terms include cancellation at no cost.

Ask with the dates the conference gives you. The event runs Tuesday October 13 to Thursday October 15. A Monday October 12 arrival and a Thursday October 15 departure is three nights. Put the 8 a.m. PT second-pass deadline in the request, because it names the hour when your own decision runs out.

Name the four properties and their distances, so the property knows you have read the page. State the zero-cost cancellation term you already hold, because a matching term removes the fee argument before it starts. Ask for breakfast, parking and a late checkout in the first message.

Ask the property to hold the rate until the October 13 door rise, so that one decision date covers the pass and the room together. A request placed through hotelhaggle goes to 50 or more hotels at once, responses typically arrive within 24 to 72 hours, submission is free, and the rate is paid to the hotel with no markup added.

Three nights, one decision date, and a room block that has already closed.
