Twenty-five days, four of them dark
The Youth Fair runs Thursday, March 18 to Sunday, April 11 in 2027. That is 25 calendar days at 10901 Coral Way in Miami. The fair opens on 21 of them.
Four dates are dark. Monday, March 29 and Tuesday, March 30 close the first stretch. Monday, April 5 and Tuesday, April 6 close the second. Every page of the venue site carries the run and the four exceptions in one line: March 18 to April 11, 2027 except March 29-30 and April 5-6.
A buyer who asks for one nightly rate across the whole run asks a property to average a peak Saturday against a shuttered Monday. The calendar gives a cleaner split, and that split is the negotiation.
What each gate time gives a guest
The schedule page prints a gate time for all 25 days. Thirteen days open at Noon. Eight open at 4:00 PM. Every 4:00 PM gate falls on a Wednesday, a Thursday or a Friday.
Thursday, March 18 and Friday, March 19 open at 4:00 PM, the first two days of the run. A local guest drives in after lunch and leaves no fair time on the table. That makes the Thursday arrival a question to answer.
Five weekday gates open at Noon: March 22 through March 26. Those are the weekdays that give a full afternoon on the grounds.
The eight weekend days are the tight block
Eight weekend days stay open: March 20 and 21, March 27 and 28, April 3 and 4, April 10 and 11. A property prices those nights against demand, and they are the nights to secure first.
Put all eight in one request with the midweek nights attached. A property that wants the four Saturdays accepts a soft Wednesday to hold them.
Put the stay on the open side of a dark date
Friday, March 26 to Sunday, March 28 pays for two nights and delivers three fair days. Push the checkout to Monday, March 29 and the third night buys a closed park.
The same arithmetic runs at the second break. Friday, April 2 to Sunday, April 4 sits inside open days. A Monday, April 5 checkout lands on a dark date.
Name March 26 to 28 and April 2 to 4 as the two candidate windows in the request. Print the gate time beside each date.
The closing time varies, so the cancellation term carries weight
The schedule page prints closing guidance by day. Sunday through Thursday the Front Gate closes at 10 PM or later. Friday and Saturday the gate closes at 11 PM or later. The page adds that the park is open late every night and that closing times vary.
A property that applies a 6 PM same-day cutoff against a gate that may close at 11 PM leaves the guest holding a night they cannot use. Ask for the cancellation window in writing. Tie it to the printed gate time, or ask for free cancellation on the day of arrival until the gate opens.
Ask for March 29, March 30, April 5 and April 6 to be named as free cancellation dates in the offer. A property can release a Monday room at no cost when its own building has no event traffic that night.
What the venue has not published
No 2027 ticket price appears on the venue site. The tickets page carries a newsletter signup for the 75th anniversary and the line We'll be back with something big. The FAQ, discounts and know-before-you-go pages carry the same placeholder.
No parking rate appears on the getting-here page. That page lists five vehicle entrances, the rideshare drop at Coral Way and 112th Avenue, the handicap drop at the main entrance and a parking lot map. Ask the venue for the rate before signing a room.
The script to send
Send one request with both windows, the eight weekend days and the four dark dates inside it.
Offer language: We need rooms for two windows, March 26 to 28 and April 2 to 4, 2027. The fair opens at Noon on those Saturdays and Sundays and closes at 11 PM or later. Please quote a nightly rate for each window and a separate rate for the midweek nights between them. Please confirm the cancellation window in writing and allow free cancellation on March 29, March 30, April 5 and April 6.
Send the same request to more than one property so every offer arrives against competition. Ask for breakfast, waived parking or a suite upgrade when the rate holds. Keep the walk-away open, because a rate without a cancellation term cannot carry a 25-day stay.
Florida, before you submit
hotelHaggle covers 46 states with 103,857+ hotels. Its seller-of-travel page, last updated October 18, 2026, states that it cannot process hotel booking requests from residents of or for travel to Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington. Its home page FAQ names the same four states and limits the restriction to name-your-price bookings. Miami sits in Florida.
Where the platform cannot take the request, the script goes to the property directly. Send it to the sales office of each candidate hotel and hold the same terms. Questions on the platform route go to support@hotelhaggle.org.
