One Seat, Four Published Prices

The Carolina Opry Christmas Special runs November 2 to December 31, 2026 at the theatre on 8901 North Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach. Evening shows start at 7 p.m. and matinees start at 1 p.m. on twenty dates. The ticket page states that every price below includes all taxes and fees.

Adults pay $80.50 in Premium seating, $70.65 in Regular seating or $53.50 in Value seating. Children pay $50.00 Premium, $29.95 Regular or $29.95 Value. The gap between Premium and Value is $27.00 per adult, which is $108.00 across four adults. The gap between Regular and Value is $17.15 per adult.

The Group Rate Prints $35 and Names No Tier

The deals page carries a banner reading $35 tickets for groups of 22 or more, with the line that any group of 22 or more qualifies for special group rates and benefits, and a group sales number at 800-633-1508. The group page adds the terms: two complimentary tickets with 22 paid tickets, no deposit required, and a custom quote for group pricing.

The banner names no seating tier and carries no expiry date, and its image asset sits in a 2022 upload folder. The figure is $18.50 under the lowest published adult price of $53.50. Twenty-two paid seats at $35 come to $770 for 24 seats once the two comps count, or $32.08 a seat.

Put two questions to Group Sales: which tier the $35 rate buys, and whether that rate applies to the Christmas Special production priced from $53.50 to $80.50. Get both answers in writing before the count is set.

The Season Pass Covers Premium and Regular

The season pass page states 25 percent off the Christmas Special, applied to the full retail price of adult Premium and Regular tickets. The discount carries conditions: a limited quantity of pass tickets designated per event, availability based seating, up to six discounted tickets per visit, and a named passholder who must attend. Benefits are non-transferable, and an account carries a maximum of two names.

Run the percentage. Twenty-five percent off $80.50 lands at $60.38. Twenty-five percent off $70.65 lands at $52.99, which is $0.51 under the $53.50 Value price. The discount applies to Premium and Regular only, so a passholder who asks for Value seating takes no discount.

Two fees sit beside the discount: a $2 per ticket internet order processing fee and a $2 per ticket transfer or raincheck fee. Pass tickets cannot be collected until within two hours of the performance.

The Package Puts the Room in the Same Purchase

The Dayton group holiday package prices at $169 per person on double occupancy. It includes two nights oceanfront at Dayton House Resort, tickets to the Christmas Special, hot breakfast each morning and dinner at the Original Benjamin Calabash Seafood Buffet. The terms read a minimum of 20 paid guests, valid November 1 to December 31, 2026, Sunday to Thursday night stays, with rates possibly higher for weekends, holidays and special events. Booking runs through Tasha Graham at 843-839-7036.

The package names no seating tier either. Price it against the ticket page: $169 less the $80.50 Premium adult price leaves $88.50 for two nights of lodging, two breakfasts and one dinner, or $44.25 a night per person. Against the $53.50 Value ticket it leaves $115.50, or $57.75 a night per person.

One caution on the theatre website. The holiday hotel packages page still prints 2025 terms, an expiry of December 31, 2025 and a rate of $131.32 per person for two nights. The Dayton page carries the 2026 season.

The Count Date Is the Deliverable

Group bookings carry no deposit. The final count and payment fall due two weeks before the performance for Regular and Value tiers, and 30 days before the performance for the Premium tier. Those deadlines apply to Calvin Gilmore productions. Performing Arts Series concerts are paid in full at booking.

For the December 31 closing performance, a Thursday, the Regular and Value count date is December 17 and the Premium count date is December 1. A Premium group commits five weeks earlier than a Value group.

No refunds are issued once payment is received. The theatre offers a transfer and rain check to guests who contact it at least 48 hours before the performance. All change and cancellation requests arrive in writing and must reach the theatre by the final count and payment date for the order. Seats can be added after payment, and added seats are paid at the time of addition.

What to Take to the Call

Ask four things and write the answers down. Which tier the $35 group rate buys. Whether the two comps count inside or above the 22 paid seats. Which date is the final count for the performance you want. And whether the group rate covers the Christmas Special production at all.

The room sits outside the theatre budget, and the address is 8901 North Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29572. hotelhaggle takes one room request for the show night and sends it to every qualified hotel in the destination, at no cost to submit, with offers back in 24 to 72 hours and no obligation to accept. South Carolina sits outside the four states the platform cannot serve, listed on the seller of travel page as Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington.

Set the room request against the package number. The Dayton package leaves $44.25 a night per person at the Premium ticket price, and that is the figure a room-only offer on the same nights has to clear.
