El Día de los Muertos runs Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Cheekwood. The page numbers the festival 27th annual, and a second paragraph on the same page numbers it 26th.

A time-entry ticket is required for every guest.

The table in two columns

The festival page prints admission on-site and off-site: adults $23 and $18, seniors 65 and over $21 and $16, college students $19 and $14, youth 3 to 17 free and free, children 2 and under free, member adults and member youth free in both columns.

Non-members pay a $2 service fee per ticket and a $5 per-vehicle parking fee on-site. Every ticket includes garden and mansion access.

A family of four

Two adults and two children aged 3 to 17, parking at Cheekwood: $46 in admission, $4 in service fees and $5 for the vehicle. The total is $55.

The same family parking at Belle Meade Office Park and riding the trolley: $36 in admission and $4 in fees. The total is $40.

The gap is $15, made of $5 on each adult ticket and the $5 vehicle fee. The off-site page states the same arithmetic: free parking at a $5 value per vehicle, $5 off each admission ticket, and mansion access included.

One figure on that page complicates the $40. The off-site page prints its own admission table with youth 3 to 17 at $11. At that price the same family pays $62 off-site. Confirm the youth rate at purchase.

Smaller parties

Two seniors pay $51 on-site and $36 off-site. Two college students pay $47 and $32. One adult pays $30 and $20.

The lot and the trolley

The lot sits at Belle Meade Office Park, 4525 Harding Pike, Nashville, TN 37205. Trolleys run about every 20 minutes in both directions.

Trolleys take foldable strollers only and carry no ADA access. The page asks guests to add shuttle wait time to the arrival plan.

The last entry time is 2:30 to 3 p.m. Off-site parking tickets stop selling at 3 p.m. on the day of the visit.

The off-site page lists October weekends and prints El Día de los Muertos as Oct. 31 to Nov. 1. Guests can buy the discounted admission at the lot, and that ticket includes garden and mansion access.

Gate capacity

The festival page warns that parking capacity may be reached during this event. Once the lot fills, walk-up tickets go only to guests arriving by rideshare.

The directions page gives the working rule: reserving tickets in advance and paying the parking fee is the stated route to admission and parking.

School groups arriving by bus are turned away from this festival, and the page prints that restriction twice.

Rideshare and bike arrivals

Guests arriving by rideshare show proof of use at check-in and receive a ticket discount plus a waived parking fee. A guest who paid the parking fee in advance can request a refund of that fee at check-in. Bike riders follow the same rule, and a rack sits just inside the entry gate.

The size of the ticket discount has no figure on any page. Guest Services answers on 615-353-6965.

The parking build

Cheekwood has begun construction on a Parking Pavilion and Welcome Plaza, with completion slated for 2027. Metro Parks provides the overflow parkland beside the entrance, and that agreement concludes in 2027.

No room on the page

The festival page, the off-site parking page and the directions page carry no hotel, lodging or overnight line.

hotelhaggle's Nashville directory reads 222 hotels available. One request reaches 50 or more properties, and replies arrive within 24 to 72 hours. Group rates start at 10 rooms a night at most hotels, and some properties discount from five rooms by season. The platform charges nothing to submit and adds no markup.

The festival runs Saturday and Sunday. A Friday arrival and a Monday departure bracket both days.
