Market Common Halloween: What the District Charges

Two Hours on Deville Street

Hometown Halloween runs at The Market Common on Saturday 31 October from 5 pm to 7 pm. The district sits at 4017 Deville Street, Myrtle Beach, and the office answers on (843) 839-3500.

Participating businesses hand out sweets along the streets, and a dance party runs through the two hours. The event page carries no ticket, no wristband and no entry fee.

What the District Prices That Evening

Four priced offers run on the same Saturday and the Sunday after it. Travinia Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar halves its martinis from 4 pm to 6 pm every Wednesday and Saturday. Tupelo Honey Cafe pours $3 mimosas from 8 am every Saturday and Sunday, in three flavors. Travinia lists $5 Bloody Marys and mimosas all day on Sunday 1 November.

Grand 14 Cinema sells $7.00 tickets all day every Tuesday. The price excludes 3D, GTX and LX surcharges, holidays and opening days. The cinema holds 14 screens and 2,600 seats at 4002 Deville Street.

The district also lists a weekend happy hour across its restaurants, a farmers market in Valor Park from 10 am to 3 pm on Saturdays, Saturday storytime at Barnes and Noble from 11 am, a 9:15 am run club, and guided electric bike tours at 10 am on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Hours on the Day

Fall trading runs 10 am to 7 pm Monday to Saturday, and noon to 6 pm on Sunday. The district lists Halloween itself at 10 am to 7:30 pm. The extension ends half an hour after the trick-or-treating closes.

The management office stores luggage at no charge for anyone holding a valid ID, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with no reservation. Outside those hours a property ambassador answers on (843) 602-4181.

What a Saturday Night Costs

The same weekend carries the Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam, and that event publishes partner rates. Grande Shores Ocean Resort starts at $52 a night plus taxes and fees under code DISC30 for stays from 28 October to 4 November, and lists free onsite garage parking. Vacation Myrtle Beach books by phone under code Jeep Jam: $69 at Landmark Resort, $72 at Captains Quarters and at Hotel Blue, $82 at Crown Reef, $84 at Beach Colony. Each of those properties includes parking.

Fairfield Inn Broadway at the Beach starts at $99 with hot breakfast, and Homewood Suites starts at $139 for an oceanfront room. Neither lodging page publishes a cut-off date.

The Ask for That Night

The request is one Saturday night, 31 October. Quote the $52 floor from Grande Shores in the same town.

Ask for the tax, the resort fee and the parking charge in writing before comparing any two properties. A headline rate quotes the room alone. Then ask the property to waive the parking or the resort fee for that night, and put the number it returns in the same reply.

Ask for the Sunday at the same time. Travinia runs $5 Bloody Marys and mimosas all day on 1 November, and the Tupelo Honey mimosas run again from 8 am that morning.

Where to Send It

hotelhaggle.org accepts South Carolina requests. Its seller-of-travel page lists Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington as the four states it cannot process. The platform sends one request to 50 or more hotels in the destination, charges no fee to submit, and takes no commission on the rate a property returns.
