Fourteen codes and no dollar figure
The 38th Run to the Sun Car and Truck Show runs March 18, 19 and 20, 2027 at the old Myrtle Square Mall, 2501 North Kings Highway. The event info page heading reads March 18-20-21, 2027. The schedule page dates the three show days March 18, 19 and 20. Ask the organiser to confirm the calendar in writing before a group books nights.
Lodging sits on one partner page. That page carries 14 named group codes and no price.
Nine entries print the string Run to the Sun 2026: Crown Reef Resort and Waterpark, Landmark Resort, Hotel Blue Beachfront Resort, Captain's Quarters Beach Resort, Beach Colony Resort, Beach Cove Resort, Sea Watch Resort, Ocean Creek Resort and Vacation Myrtle Beach. Two print 031926RUN: The Sandbar Hotel and LaQuinta Inn and Suites Broadway. Staybridge Suites uses SUN, Hampton Inn and Suites Myrtle Beach Oceanfront uses T32, and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton at The Ellie Beach Resort uses 90W.
A guest who collects all fourteen codes still has no rate to compare. The first call converts a code into a quoted number. The second asks against that number.
The host hotel answers by phone
Four Points by Sheraton Myrtle Beach at 101 Fantasy Harbour Boulevard is the official host hotel. Its entry reads 843-236-1000, call for group rate. The line carries no code.
The host hotel also takes packet collection. Cars and trucks registered after February 1, 2027 pick up at that address, so every late registrant walks into that lobby. Get its quoted rate in writing before you mention any figure from another property.
The far band sets the floor
Eight entries publish a distance. The near group reads Hotel Blue at 2.4 miles, Captain's Quarters at 2.5, Beach Colony at 2.5, Landmark at 3 and Crown Reef at 4.1. The far group reads Sea Watch at 8.7 miles, Ocean Creek at 10 and Beach Cove at 11. Dayton House Resort prints short walk to event.
All three far properties carry the Run to the Sun 2026 code. Ask the far band first: Beach Cove at 11 miles, Ocean Creek at 10 and Sea Watch at 8.7. Three quotes from the far band give a floor for the near band. The page publishes no availability and no rate for any property, so distance is the only published number that separates one entry from another.
Two codes name the last cycle
Run to the Sun 2026 and 031926RUN both point at the 2026 show. The dates on the same site read March 2027. No other hotel line carries a year. Print the code you are given, ask the property to confirm it books the 2027 dates, and keep the confirmation.
Nights, not days
Three nights cover a Thursday-to-Saturday show: March 18, 19 and 20, with a Sunday March 21 checkout. An arrival on the morning of the 18th costs the first show hour. A Wednesday March 17 arrival adds a fourth night and puts the car at the gate for the 8am opening.
Parking prices the alternative. Off-site parking costs $5 per vehicle at the lot the info page names, the Myrtle Waves Water Park at 3000 Mr Joe White Ave, less than 2.7 miles out. Coast RTA buses run 7:30am to 5:30pm, and 100 percent of the parking fee goes to the Carolina Forest NJROTC Booster Club. The schedule page lists a second address, Myrtle Beach Pelicans Stadium at 1251 21st Ave N. The info page states that stadium holds no car show parking while baseball games run.
Five properties print trailer parking: Landmark, Red Roof Inn Myrtle Beach Market Commons and Myrtle Beach KOA plainly, Dayton House and Homewood Suites Coastal Grand Mall with limited space. The organiser lists paid trailer lots away from the hotels, including the Myrtle Beach Pavilion Parking Garage at 914 North Kings Highway, one mile south of the show. Trailer storage is paid to the lot owner, so it belongs in the same call.
The one number printed twice
LaQuinta Inn and Suites Broadway at 1561 21st Avenue North and Country Inn and Suites by Radisson at 3516 Waccamaw Boulevard both list 843-236-4500. Ask which desk answers before you treat either quote as a separate offer.
