No rate, no cut-off, no code
The page carries no nightly figure. A search of the served HTML for a dollar sign returns zero hits. Searches for cut-off, deadline and group code return zero as well.
Both Book Your Room buttons open the Marriott overview page for the hotel. Neither link carries a query string, a date or a group code. That route books the published rate.
The three overflow links
The page lists VisitMusicCity.com, Hotels.com and Booking.com as nearby-hotel searches. It states that those companies and links are not affiliated with AES, with the show or with aesshow.com, and that any contract or term sits with the buyer.
The Hotels.com and Booking.com links carry Oct. 29 arrival and Nov. 1 departure. The VisitMusicCity link opens a dated list for the Nashville area.
The clock the show publishes
Exhibits run Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Workshops and sessions run Friday 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On-site registration runs Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in front of the AES Ryman Exhibit Hall B4 and B5.
The pre-filled Oct. 29 arrival covers Friday's registration window. A Nov. 1 checkout leaves before the Sunday 5 p.m. close. An Oct. 29 to Nov. 2 stay covers it.
The 30 percent with no base
AES publishes the percentage and no rate to apply it to. The figure becomes a number at the first quote a buyer holds.
The request route
