Tampa United Volleyball runs the Gasparilla Volleyball Classic at the Tampa Convention Center, 333 S. Franklin St., Tampa, FL 33602. The city record dates the tournament Saturday, Feb. 13, 2027 at 7 a.m. through Monday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. Play uses the East, Central and West Exhibit Halls. The tournament runs by pre-registration only. Parents and guests buy QR-code tickets at East Registration. Doors open at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
One record, two answers on admission
That same city record prints Free/Open to the public? Yes. Its description sells spectator admission at a registration desk. Settle the pair before paying anything. Ask the venue box office and the host club which line governs entry. Put the answer in writing before a room is booked.
The organiser calendar omits this date
The city record links jvctournaments.com for event details. That site publishes its 2026-27 calendar. Tampa holds the Molten Florida Pre-Qualifier on Feb. 26 to 28, 2027, and March Mayhem on March 13 to 14 and March 20 to 21. Three other events fill Feb. 13 to 15 on that calendar: the Nike Savannah Showdown in Savannah, Nike VolleyFest in Providence and a Springfield event. No page on the site names the Gasparilla Volleyball Classic. Confirm the event status with the venue before a three-night commitment.
The admission ladder the organiser does publish
The Molten Florida Pre-Qualifier page carries the 2026-27 admission procedure. A spectator enters a team code at the coupon prompt to reach the purchase page. Passes admit one person and cannot be shared. Admission opens one week before the tournament on OttoEvent. Early bird pricing runs to 9 p.m. on the day before the event. Early bird daily pass $14.00. Early bird tournament pass $28.00. Standard daily pass $18.00. Standard tournament pass $34.00. Children 5 and under enter free. Each spectator shows a pass with matching photo ID at entry and re-entry.
That ladder prices this date. One standard tournament pass costs $34 for three days. Three standard daily passes cost $54 for the same three days. No admission page exists for Feb. 13 to 15. The venue registration desk is the published route to a ticket for this date.
Three nights come from the two published times
Doors open at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Play closes at 6 p.m. on Monday. A family driving in from out of town cannot reach a 7 a.m. door on Saturday morning without a pre-dawn start. The stay is Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights, with a Tuesday departure. Three nights, fixed by the door time and the close time.
Friday is the night to ask about
A fourth night at the front buys the 7 a.m. Saturday door. The city calendar puts DRCA D.R.I.V.E.N in Ballroom C-D and the meeting rooms through Friday, Feb. 12. The exhibit halls carry no listed event that Friday. The tournament opens those halls at 7 a.m. on Saturday. Ask for the Friday night at a separate nightly rate and keep the three tournament nights at one rate.
Monday night carries demand behind it. The College Hunks Hauling Junk 2027 Reunion runs Feb. 16 to 18 in Ballroom A-D and the meeting rooms. The 2027 Hillsborough Regional STEM Fair runs Wednesday, Feb. 17 in the East Exhibit Hall and meeting rooms. A Tuesday departure clears both.
The venue hotel list carries distances and no rates
The Convention Center Nearby Hotels page carries 26 entries with a distance reading and no dollar figures. The four closest sit within 0.3 miles. Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown Convention Center, 513 S. Florida Ave., connects to the building by Sky Bridge. Tampa Marriott Water Street, 700 S. Florida Ave., sits 0.2 miles out. JW Marriott Tampa Water Street, 505 Water Street, sits 0.2 miles out. The Westin Tampa Waterside, 725 S. Harbour Island Blvd., sits 0.3 miles out.
Parking at the 141 E. Brorein St. garage carries an event rate of $5.00 to $50.00. The non-event rate runs $3 per hour with an $18 daily maximum. That garage holds no long-term spaces. The Pam Iorio and Fort Brooke garages take long-term parking. Three event days carry a $15 to $150 parking band at the event rate. A room at 0.2 miles removes that band from the stay.
The housing rule to ask about
The operator publishes a housing rule on the Molten Florida Pre-Qualifier page. Clubs residing more than 60 miles from the playing venue must secure at least 10 hotel room-nights per team through THS to be accepted into the event. Reservations opened after 2 p.m. EST on Oct. 16. Block rates include a rebate the tournament applies to facility expenses. No equivalent rule appears for Feb. 13 to 15, and no room block appears for that date. Ask the host club whether a housing requirement applies to this tournament. The answer decides who books the room and who signs the contract.
What to put in the request
Four nights, Friday Feb. 12 to Tuesday Feb. 16. Rate for each night listed separately. Parking and amenity fees itemized. Cancellation window stated in hours. The Sky Bridge property first, then the two properties at 0.2 miles, then the property at 0.3 miles.
hotelhaggle cannot process booking requests for travel to Florida at this time. The request goes to the properties and the host club directly. The published numbers for the ask are three doors at 7 a.m., a 6 p.m. Monday close, $34 for one standard tournament pass, $54 for three standard daily passes and a $5.00 to $50.00 event parking band.
