Ten Room-Nights Decide Entry

JVC Tournaments runs the Molten Florida Pre-Qualifier at the Tampa Convention Center from February 26 to 28, 2027. The organiser publishes one hospitality rule with a number in it. Every club that resides more than 60 miles from the venue must secure at least 10 hotel room-nights per team through THS to be accepted.

A two-night stay clears the rule with five rooms. A club that takes the Thursday block night as well clears it with four. The event holds room for about 300 teams, and JVC accepts a team after the entry fee and the hotel booking arrive.

THS lists a block window of February 25 to 28, 2027. The tournament runs February 26 to 28, so a Thursday arrival sits inside the contracted window. The City of Tampa calendar carries a two-day window of Saturday February 27 to Sunday February 28. JVC publishes three-day divisions that start Friday no earlier than 2:30 p.m.

What the Guarantee Promises

The THS booking page sells a Lowest Rate Guarantee. THS runs rate integrity checks at its partner hotels. A club that finds a lower qualifying rate requests a price match, THS reviews the claim, and the team rate drops to the lower figure.

The program carries an end date. THS states on its support page that the guarantee applies until the contracted cut-off, about 30 days before arrival. After that date the hotel releases the rooms and sells remaining inventory at rates the program does not cover. Obtain that date in writing.

Two Published Exclusion Lists

The JVC hotel page prints one list. THS guarantees the lowest group rates through continual rate integrity checks, with exclusions that include single and king bedded rooms, employee rates, government rates, AAA and AARP rates.

The THS support page prints a longer list. It excludes prepaid and non-refundable rates, rates found on OTA sites such as Expedia, Hotels.com and Priceline, corporate negotiated rates, hotel employee and friends and family rates, government and military rates, member-only program rates such as loyalty, Honors and Rewards Club, membership rates such as AAA and AARP, and any rate quoted to a group that misrepresented its identity or the purpose of the visit.

The room-type carve-out decides most claims for a volleyball club. A team booking double queen rooms sits inside the guarantee. King rooms sit outside it, so a lower online king rate supports no claim. The OTA exclusion also removes the most visible discounts, so an aggregator screenshot fails the first test.

The Proof Requirements

THS publishes the conditions for a claim. The lower rate must sit at a THS partner hotel, on the same room type and dates THS contracted, on four or more rooms at single to quad occupancy. The club states the date it found the rate and sends written correspondence with a hotel employee, or a screenshot showing the hotel address, the dates, the room type and the rate.

What to Ask at 888-536-8326

THS takes reservations at 888-536-8326 and at THS@THSweb.com. The block opened at 2 p.m. EST on October 16, 2026. THS staffs the toll-free line Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.

Six questions matter on that call. Ask for the contracted cut-off date for each property in writing. Ask which room type each property advertises, and the bed configuration behind it. Ask whether the rate includes parking. Ask for the cancellation deadline printed on each hotel listing. Ask for the current approved hotel list, which JVC and THS generate together. Ask how the 15-room ceiling works, which the booking portal prints as a maximum per team.

A club that needs more than 15 rooms calls customer support at (908) 979-0928.

The Contract You Already Signed

JVC publishes a route for a club holding a signed hotel contract. Email THS a copy of the contract with a statement of the club needs. THS states it will try to incorporate those rooms into the approved hotel list. The route applies to a team or an entire club, and it excludes individual reservations.

A club staying in a house, a timeshare or with local family contacts AJ Joseph at AJ@jvctournaments.com or 719-201-7323. The same contact handles a local team that needs no rooms and any unresolved issue with THS.

Costs the Pages Publish

Entry fees run from $350 for a 10 and 11 Club division to $675 for a three-day Open or USA division. Spectator passes run $14 daily and $28 tournament during early bird pricing, and $18 and $34 at standard pricing until 9 p.m. on the day before play. A pass admits one person, requires photo identification, and opens after the spectator enters the team code from the club director.

Parking at the convention center garage runs an event band of $5.00 to $50.00. The non-event rate is $3 an hour with an $18 daily maximum. The building is cashless, and JVC warns drivers not to back into a space because payment is verified by plate.

A Florida Booking Cannot Run Through This Platform

hotelhaggle.org publishes its seller of travel position on a page last updated October 21, 2026. The platform cannot process hotel booking requests from residents of or for travel to Florida, Hawaii, Iowa or Washington. Florida requires seller of travel registration under Chapter 559 of the Florida Statutes, and the page states that the registration is not held. The restriction covers grouprooms.org, hotelhaggle.org, hotelslots.org, bookmyteam.org and partners.hotelhuddle.com.

A Tampa block goes to the organiser channel and to the properties directly. For this event the channel is THS, which holds the approved list and the rate integrity program. Questions about the restriction go to compliance@hotelhuddle.com.

The Ask, Reduced to One Page

Book inside the block window. Take the cut-off date in writing. Confirm the advertised room type before a claim exists. Send any signed contract to THS with a request for inclusion.
