The deadline sits in the top navigation
The World Vaccine Congress Washington 2027 runs March 8 to 11 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mt. Vernon Place NW. Terrapinn prints the offer in the top navigation of every page on the site: "Register - 55% Discount ENDS NOV 13". The ticket page repeats it on each rung as "Book before 13 November". November 13 is a Friday and sits 20 days from today. It lands 115 days before the Monday workshop day.
What the ladder takes off
Read the four published rungs, list price against early price. The Standard full-app pass falls from $4,795 to $2,320, a saving of $2,475 and 51.62% of list. The Standard limited-access pass falls from $4,495 to $2,020, a saving of $2,475 and 55.06%, and that is the rung that carries the banner figure. The Pharma and Biotech full-app pass falls from $2,595 to $1,330, a saving of $1,265 and 48.75%. The Pharma and Biotech limited pass falls from $2,295 to $1,030.
Group booking carries a second ladder. Three passes or more take 20% off, five or more take 40%, ten or more take 50%. The Standard full-app group rate before 13 November reads $1,855 a person, which the page puts $2,940 below list. The page publishes both ladders and states no rule for combining them.
The pass that carries no deadline
The Govt, NGO and Academic pass prints one price on each rung: $795 for full app access and $495 for limited access. Neither rung carries an early tier and neither carries a date. A reader in that category faces the room bill as the whole commitment of the trip.
Four days and three published clocks
The FAQ publishes the day clocks. Pre-congress workshops run Monday March 8 from 10:00 to 17:00. Day one runs Tuesday March 9 from 9:00 to 17:45. Day two runs Wednesday March 10 from 9:00 to 17:45. Day three runs Thursday March 11 from 9:00 to 15:00.
Each of those four lines ends with the same parenthetical: "Registration time TBC". Four days of programme with no published hour at which the desk opens. A guest booking a flight and a bed has no door clock to plan against.
The stay that covers the run
A guest who arrives Sunday March 7 and departs Thursday March 11 holds four nights. That shape covers the 10:00 Monday start without a same-day arrival. A guest who arrives Tuesday March 9 and departs Thursday March 11 holds three nights and misses the workshops.
The four nights run Sunday through Thursday, which gives the request a single block to price.
The room against the ceiling
The federal lodging ceiling for Washington in March 2027 is $295 a night, from the General Services Administration per diem file. Four nights at that ceiling total $1,180 before tax. The District rate of 15.95% adds $188.21, and the bill reads $1,368.21. Three nights read $885 before tax and $1,026.16 after.
The pass saving against the room bill
The $2,475 Standard saving is 1.81 times the four-night room bill at the ceiling. A team of three buying group passes at $1,855 each spends $5,565, which is $1,460.37 more than three rooms for four nights at the ceiling.
The pass line moves by thousands inside a 20-day window. The room line moves by hundreds across the same four nights. A buyer who holds the room at or below the ceiling keeps the smaller number inside the larger one.
What to ask, and on which date
Ask for the rate inside the window the pass is bought. Put the 13 November date in the request and ask for a rate quoted before that Friday and held through it. A property that holds a rate to the buyer's own commitment date gives the buyer the structure the organiser gives on the pass.
Ask for a flat nightly rate at or below $295 before tax, with the 15.95% printed on the confirmation. Ask for the Sunday arrival night to carry free cancellation to 48 hours, because the registration desk hour is unpublished. Ask for a 15:00 checkout on Thursday March 11, the hour the programme closes.
Ask for the parking number in writing. The convention centre publishes no public parking on site and more than 3,000 spaces within a three-block radius, with heavy enforcement in the surrounding residential blocks. A group that drives needs the garage rate beside the room rate.
The address and the line
The building sits atop the Mt. Vernon Square/7th Street-Convention Center station on Metro's Green and Yellow lines. The Red Line alternative is a five-minute walk from Gallery Place-Chinatown. The venue phone is (202) 249-3000. A property within walking distance of Mt. Vernon Place removes the arrival risk that the unpublished desk hour creates.
Run the request
hotelhaggle sends one request to hotels in the destination and returns their rates, terms and fees on one dashboard. The District of Columbia is not on the seller-of-travel restricted list, which names Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington. Load the four nights, the $295 ceiling, the 13 November date and the 15:00 Thursday checkout into one request.
